A special lunch was planned for my daughters and I today, Haywire was her first choice of restaurants. We put our order in, I ordered the blackened tilapia sandwich with a gluten free bun. (an additional $2.50!!!) Once our order was delivered to our table I noticed that the bun was moldy! I immediately flagged down the waitress, when she came over, she apologized and brought my sandwich back to the kitchen, I specifically asked for no bun this time. my girls ate while I waited patiently, the owner came out with my sandwich on a bun, he apologize and showed me how the buns were single wrapped...(that doesnt make a difference to me, food left the kitchen that was not eadible and went unnoticed. I thought I would try the bun, it did not taste right at all. So I didnt eat the remainder of it, but was so hungry I ate the tiny piece of fish which didnt taste very good at all. We have been yo this restaurant many times and always left happy. When the waitress came over, she asked how things were, I told her the bun didnt taste right, she said I told the owner, but apparently he didnt want to listen. Once the bill came, I was not happy that they had charged me for the bun (I eat gluten free and have for years, what a ripoff to charge $2.50 for a flippin bun!!!). My stomach felt quiesy just thinking about what came out of the kitchen the first time. I asked the waitress to take the bun off of our bill, and also asked her to take off the fish as well, it was the principle and it pissed me off, because he wanted to give me another bun when I didnt want it he thought it was ok to charge me for it. She said I will talk to the owner. The waitress came back to the table, sat down and said that he wouldnt take anything off the bill. She was profusely apologetic, and said that she would take it off, but she wasnt allowed. I told her it wasnt her fault, but to make sure to let the owner know that I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN HAYWIRE AGAIN!!! I grew up in the restaurant business and to do what he did wasnt right. A suggestion to all, make sure you look at your food carefully when it comes out of the kitchen! You never know what will end up on your table!

If I could giver negative stars I would. Calimari was okay, pretty average. But my fish sandwich was bad. And I dont mean like taste bad, I mean the fish had gone rotten bad, as had the cole slaw. My husband, who was with me, is an executive chef, so I am being 100% honest. We sent it back and ordered a burger as a replacement. 35 minutes later, I got a very sloppily thrown together overcooked burger. My husband had a pork sandwich that was okay, nothing memorable. And my son had a burger that was average. Ice tea was basically water and the waitress, while apologetic when we returned the fish, sure was quick to grab that tip off the table before we had even gotten out of our seats. I will never go back and I reccomend anyone who is not looking to get over priced food poisoning....stay away from Haywire.

Burgers were bland. I could cook a better one in a frying pan... and for half the price. Last time I visited (shortly after it opened), my partner and I each ordered a different burger and we asked our waitress if the chef could cut them in half for us so we could split them. She came back and said that the chef would not cut them for us and we should cut them ourselves. We were the ONLY customers in the restaurant at the time so it was very apparent there were some customer service issues. After some arguing, we ended up cutting them with a butterknife and making a mess. We did not tip our server and we have not been back since. Im actually surprised they are still in business. I would prefer a whopper from Burger King over this place. Just plain awful.

Went there today for lunch. I ordered the appetizer fried shrimp at $9.00. Waitress brings out a small dish of popcorn shrimp that tasted like salt. I could not eat them. Then she brings me my crab cake burger which had shells in it. I tried to eat what I could, as I was hungry but when waitress came back again I told her I could not get past the shells. They did comp me the shrimp but still charged for the shell riddled crab cake. She said the owner was coming to our table. His name is Avni Krasniqi. He comes to the table, no apology. Just tells me they get it out of a can. Oh that makes me feel much better!!! Out of a can! He still charged me and when I told him we would not be coming back he replied OK. Unbelievable!

Parking is beyond a challenge with a mirrored image parking lot - no matter how you go in - you may not be able to get out. I could have roofed my house with the amount of batter on the fried pickles. The french fries are right out of a box. My server was too interested in bringing all my food at the same time which actually worked out because the fried shrimp wasnt deveined and I already told you about the pickles. Lots of beer selections but they are all the same kind... maybe Im nitpicking but the bathrooms were gross and not well maintained and the kid hostess was clueless on all the questions I asked her before we sat. Good news was my burger was great.

My Burger was great. Ordered the Sunyside burger. Fried pickles, yum. Staff was great. I couldnt decided on one of their many amazing sounding burgers so he literally roles the dice for me, to reveal the wining pick -Sunyside it was. I have a feeling any one of those burgers wouldve been awesome. Now for the finale was the milkshake, chocolate, and if I wasnt already smiling when I ordered it, then Peter (our server/bartender)asking the most brilliant question, ”will that milkshake be spiked?" ...OMG Yes! (thats what she said). And it is that good.

My burger was RAW not pink as the menu says! I called the waitress over to let her know . I told her I didnt want anything just wanted the manager to know. The manager/ owner ( not sure who he was ) came over to tell me the burger was ordered pink and that is what I received. I told him NO its raw and ice cold inside. He really seemed like he did not care at all. Will not be going back ! When I think about eating raw meat I feel like throwing -up

We ordered the calamari to start, which was small but good. I got a craft beer that was very good. For burgers my wife got the French Onion burger while I got the Sunny Side burger. Both were spectacular and so were the fries (mine were waffle). Overall the service was good with a nice little patio area outside and good music playing in the background. Highly recommended for a good burger.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday night on the way home from a trip. Great experience !! I had the "haywire burger" and my husband enjoyed the "sunny side burger". Both were so good. Best burger weve had in a while. Juicy burgers and great fries. Very friendly service and we didnt wait long to be served. P.S. Follow the ramp on the side to enter the restaurant.
