I checked out this place today, because I had a long day and was too tired to cook. I saw this place on kitchen nightmares and thought it might be worth checking out. At first walking in I noticed it was small, but nice. They seated us quickly, and from there we waited and waited. It took them five or ten minutes just to ask us for a drink. It took another five minutes to ask for an order. It was very slow, and they were not even busy. They only had maybe two other tables. I also noticed they talk in the back a lot. Everyone smiled, which is nice, that is a good thing. The food was pretty good too, I really enjoyed the food. But, the slow service just killed it. They made us wait a long time, and they did not even ask us how the food was. They asked everyone else, and I felt like we waited longer than everyone else. I am not going back there, not worth the money or time I had to wait for food. There is a deli right up the road and a burger king. Both have much faster service, and good food.

Hate to put this review, but I dont think well be going back here ever again, and we used to go all the time. The last few times weve gone(since they had chef ramsey there) the service has been terrible, but yesterday was the worst. My meal came out wrong, and it took a half hour for her to bring out a simple item that I requested. My fiancé was completely done with his meal before I could even start mine. Then, four hours after we ate there my fiancé started getting terrible stomach cramps, and ended up vomitting every 20 minutes for the next 8 hours. The only thing he had to eat yesterday was the burger from this restaurant, so I cant even think of anything else being the cause. This place needed more than just a new menu, they need a whole revamping of how they run their business, its a shame because I used to love coming here :-/

Gordon Ramsay needs to check in on them again. My wife and I ate at Classic American after the Kitchen Nightmares overhaul but before the show premiered. Service was beyond slow (20 minutes just for appetizers); never got a drink refill until we nearly finished our meals; waitress kept disappearing into the bathroom; never got the pretzel and mustard basket; the new dishes looked nothing like what was seen on the show: I got the sliders and the only thing on them was the meat - no lettuce, cheese, or pickle .And there were only 4 other tables seated whe we ate there. Ive eaten at Classic American in the past and I admit the food was actually good, but the service was hit or miss. Now, its just a big miss. At least they didnt have any of the really bad issues some other restaurants had, specifically rotten food in the fridge.

Its no wonder they have a loyal following... their menu has something for everyone and offers something new all the time...and always at great prices. The wait staff are friendly and the owner is charming! The atmosphere is casual and homey... and we always look forward to our complimentary basket of piping hot PRETZELS and dipping sauce!!!! Go just once and you may become one of the many regulars who look forward to their weekly visit! WE DO!!!! BTW: stop in on weekends for breakfast! They make an amazing veggie omelette!

Amazing. The food was delicious. The corn chowder soup was so good that I was scraping the bottom of the empty bowl just to get more. The steak sandwich was super juicy and the Classic burger rocked. The best part was that the place was immaculate! I love a clean restaurant! The desserts were so imaginative that we left room for dessert; it was worth it. Deep fried tortilla filled with banana cheesecake and funnel fries both served with ice cream. We will absolutely be back! :-)

Looking to try a new place? Then this place is highly recommended!. It is a little extra money than your average place. But, the food is so way above average that it is soooooooo worth it! The food is fresh and good quality and always prepared while you wait and not ahead of time. They steak wraps are fantastic. Great fries and onion rings too. Very friendly & professional service there as well. Once you try it, you will definitely go back for sure!

We watched kitchen nightmares and decided to check it out. What a great restaurant! We had the wings, Mac and cheese bites, and the classic American burger. It was delicious and the burger was awesome!!!!! They also had homemade fried ice cream. It was amazing. Great little place to go. You will not be disappointed. Everything was fine however one of the managers hangs out by the kitchen and looks at everyone and makes me feel uncomfortable, and he was dressed like a slob and not clean shaven to be hanging around the kitchen. A little bit of a turnoff, but I will be back. The Meatloaf is unbelievable and so are the burgers.

OMG best burger Ive ever had, hands down. The balsamic onion marmalade and the "secret sauce" along with a juicy hamburger patty (definitely fresh) and cheese ... excellent!! The fries were delicious too!!!! I definitely recommend getting the burger. Mac and Cheese balls were delicious too!

I was the last one in and ordered a burger with onion rings to go. I had to throw out half the meal and almost $13 the onion rings were all stuck together in a hard grease with everything falling apart. the burger was soaked through the bun in grease. I will not be back. it was really bad.

The food is very bland and the owners are very rude and they have some very dirty individuals working there. I gave them 3 chances thinking maybe it was a bad day, but I was wrong and I got the same style food and service everytime. Stay away and save your money.

It is what it says it is. Classic American food. Consistently great. On a side note, I brought my current girlfriend here for our first lunch date, so that says a lot in my book.
