Ive visited Highland Brass Co. several times. I must admit, I dont drink, but I really enjoy the atmosphere and they make the best non-alcoholic lemonade in the area! Although Im a non-drinker, I have 20 years experience in the bar/restaurant/hospitality industry and have knowledge and appreciation for craft cocktails and a good concept. One of the owners recently won best mixologist in the sate from the CT restaurant assn. if that means anything to you. This bar filled a much needed niche in the area. It attracts a diverse crowd that is looking for more than a local watering hole. It is a hip, not pretentious, unique, comfortable place that is product focused, creative, and has excellent customer service. It has character, personality. Maybe the best place in town for drink. Parking is not ample on Highland Ave., but you can park very close by up the side street next to the firehouse and have a short walk to the bar.

Knowledgeable friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere. You get more than what you pay for. A cocktail here that costs you ten bucks would be double in NYC or Boston. If you are in Waterbury and you want a great drink, its a no-brainer.

Amazing. I loved the artsy atmosphere and the drinks were inexpensive. I met up with my friend I havent seen in 2 years here and had a blast. Ill be back for sure!

My favorite local cocktail spot. Artwork is always new, the drinks get better every time! The staff is very accomodating. Great spot for a 1st date.
