Just ordered for the 1st time. Have to say the 4 of us were quite impressed! The Hunan Eight Delicacies was literally filled with a large amount of large scallops, large shrimp, chicken & vegetables. The Boneless Spare Ribs combination platter was THE most tender and moist ribs Ive ever had, and I mean ever! There is NO comparison between China House and ordering from the highly publicized "readers choice" winner. China House wins hands down!! From portion size to price, we will absolutely order from them again. Even the delivery guy was very friendly and personable. The online ordering process was quick & easy. I recommend this restaurant very highly.

Amazing food... 5stars for that.. but customer service is the worst.. i order multiple times a week if not for lunch at work. For dinner at home.. ive never placed an order for less than $20 (family of 5) but i just placed my last order today. NEVER again... the lady who takes the phone is disgustingly rude.. never gives me a total or estimated time unless I ask.. thats if i get the chance to ask before she hangs up.. im done.. ill spend my money elsewhere...

I called and ordered food for delivery. They said it would take about 30 minutes. After an hour, I called and they said it was on its way. 15 minutes later and still nothing. I called again and said I wanted to cancel my order and all they could say was "ok, bye." Then they hung up on me. Ill never recommend this place to anyone and will tell everyone I know not to order from them. What a horrible way to treat your customers!

Doesnt even deserve one star. I ordered food and got something completely different. I called the place to inform them I didnt get what I paid for and requested to get what I had ordered and the lady told me its not her problem and then she tried to convince me that what I got is what I ordered.

I called them after an hour and a quarter to make sure the order was coming. I thought that maybe ordering online had messed something up but was instead informed " Im just to busy". Too busy to ever get an order again I guess....

I used to love this place, but lately the food has been swimming/soaked in oil, overflowing with broccoli/veggies and barely any meat, on top of it the delivery has been super slow. Dont recommend.

Very disappointed !! It took over an hour to deliver and I am right down the street ..they gave me a time 30-40 minutes .. If its gonna be longer call me back and tell me.

They gave me a run around on the phone when we called at the hour mark they showed up an hour and twenty minutes late , we are on the same darn Street for crying out loud.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in wallingford.. They deliver very fast and are very polite and easy to order there is no language barriers.... Highly recommended
