The service was prompt, but the food was not edible. NEVER ORDER THE SCALLOPS! The fishy smell was so overpowering that I had dryheaves during the entire car-ride home, but I really didnt want to turn around because it was during the dinner-rush and quite crowded. When I finally arrived home, placed the scallops on the table WHILE STILL IN THE BAG AND SEALED IN THE AIRTIGHT CONTAINER, the smell permeated my entire house. It was beyond nauseating. I decided to drive back to the restaurant and ask to exchange my order. I was polite to the gentleman and he just kept shouting "No, it steamed, it steamed, it steamed, it steamed, yum, it steamed, it yum!!" He argued with me for ten minutes which is absurd. The scallops were clearly not fresh. I have been eating scallops for over thirty years and never encountered such a horrid smelling batch. Plus the idea of arguing with a customer who was dissatisfied is very unprofessional. I would never even risk eating there again, not worth it. And the bathroom was extremely unsanitary, mildew and filth climbing the walls.

Dont believe the poor reviews on here. Seriously, someone would order Scallops at a hole in the wall Chinese place in central CT? Regardless, this place does Chinese Food the way most people enjoy it. Looking to have some unhealthy General Tzos or Sweet & Sour Chicken? Then this place is for you. The food is delicious and inexpensive. They also offer online ordering making it convenient to place an order and not worrying about language barriers. The interior is acceptable but I always take my food out, ive seen plenty of people eating in however. $15 minimum for delivery and the lunch specials are generally around $5-$6 with the choice of white/pork fried rice, soup (egg drop or wonton) / Soda.

I live 1/4 mile away from here, and its been my go-to for Chinese Food as long as I can remember. Whenever I order, the food is prepared exactly as I like it, which caused me to try just about everything on their menu. The people are great, theyve never mistaken my order and delivery is usually early. Always friendly. But the best part is their attention to detail, the food is always perfect no matter what you get. Good vegan/vegetarian options too! We love Tripple Star at my house

I ordered sesame chicken and veggie lo mein last Sunday, and it was AWESOME. They really nailed the noodle texture, and the chicken was tasty and crispy. The rice had a good texture too. I have come here off and on since opening over 15 years ago, and have never had a bad experience. Ordering again tonight. Hoping for more of the same! Maybe an upward trend??

When I bit into the dumpling, I found a rock. I didnt eat it, all is well, but Im glad I noticed it before I shattered my teeth. You cant expect high-quality, authentic food from an Americanized Chinese restaurant. The delivery man also spat on my driveway, which isnt pleasant to see from the window. The food is okay.

This is typical bad Chinese food designed for American tastes. Egg rolls and combinations with pork fried rice are bad signs. Anyone who thinks the food here is good should go to a real Chinese restaurant (where Chinese people eat) and find out what authentic Chinese food actually tastes like.

I worked across the street for two years, and when I didnt bring a lunch this is where I usually went. The service is great, friendly, and fast. The food is exactly what you would expect from a hole in the wall Chinese food place - deep fried, a little greasy, and absolutely delicious.
