Not really sure why the reviews are so high for this restaurant. The prices were too high for the quality of food that was served. I ordered the chicken marsala. The portion was rather large but looks can be deceiving. I was served a large amount of pasta and a whole lot of button mushrooms and two tiny pieces of chicken. The pasta was overcooked. The sauce was bland. I have never had chicken marsala with button mushrooms before. If I am paying that much for a plate if food I expect quality ingredients and not a whole bunch cheap tasteless button mushrooms to cover the meager portion of chicken I was served. There was also bread crumbs on top of my pasta which was just strange and added nothing to the dish. After my disappointment with my entree we ordered the house made tiramisu that our waitress kept boasting about. The tiramisu looked like it was dropped on the floor and the thrown haphazardly on the plate. Piles of pudding whipped cream and lady fingers. Hersheys syrup poured on the top and splashed all over the plate. It didnt even taste like tiramisu. Barely any coffee flavor and I dont believe they used any rum. Not to mention tiramisu is supposed to be a layer cake not a pile of ingredients on a plate. I went in expecting authentic Italian food. What I was served was diner faire at best. Save some money and go across the street to Twin Colony. The quality of food is about the same which is not saying much.

When we arrived for our 6:30 reservation every table but the one reserved for our party of seven was full. After a slow start our watress kicked things into gear. Drinks, bread, and salad arrived, followed by an assortment of unique, and delicious apitizers. The the menu had everything one would expect to find in a fine Italian eatery. Five of our party ordered daily specials. All were amazing. Capachino, and desert rounded out a great dining experience. $360 including tip was quite reasonable. Do make a reservation.

Food was delicious! Atmosphere a bit odd, as the floor is open. There are no partitions or anything. All diners are in complete view of each other. Food was delicious! Plenty of variety on the menu! The bill was a little more than expected, but the portions are very generous, and we also got some apps and drinks, as well as dessert. Would have given an extra star for slightly better service. Our server was very pleasant, but it seemed like they need a bit more help. Id go again, maybe for some lighter fare and a beer.

The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was okay for a converted Friendlys. The staff was nice. All food was good, but not quite worth the prices charged. We tried La Cucina because they offered gluten free pasta. I was disappointed to find out that my $19 Chicken Marsala dish turned out to be $24 when the billed arrived. The waitress didnt mention the up charge. I wasnt aware of the price difference, let alone an extra $5 just for gluten free pasta. Thats an expensive add on.

Lunch was good. Cheese garlic bread was amazing! Bacon cheese burger was generous and cooked perfectly. Fried dough was okay; not doughy enough. They were pizza dipper sized and were crunchy. House sauce that came with it was not too flavorful; it seemed to be just tomatoes. The marinara sauce was very good. Prices were very reasonable and service was good. I could have done without seeing the waitresss tongue piercing though. We will go again.

Stopped here on our way home from Rhode Island. I dont normally do reviews but wanted to acknowledge how wonderful the food was! All four meals were outstanding, probably best Italian we ever had! Chef came by our table to check how we liked our meal. We will definitely be back!!!

The food is delicious. The dinners are huge. If youre going out with your significant other, one dinner to share will be plenty. This place will easily accommodate a large family for dinner.

Artfully done, delicious and pleasant atmosphere. Other restaurants charge more for the same plates. Definitely try this one out! Homemade pasta cant be beat.

Great service, amazing food! Our kids love the fried dough, which is large enough for them to split.
