This is the restaurant I choose whenever I get to pick the dinner for a birthday or another special occasion. I absolutley ADORE the Hibachi style food there. I always leave stuffed! They start you off with an included soup and salad. And then the plate a Hibachi grilled meal will give you includes: fried rice, lo mein, grilled vegetables, and a meat of your choice. On top of all the food it is my favorite kind of Japanese- and I love watching the grill workers to tricks while cooking in front of you.

Waitress looked angry from the start. After serving us, never saw her again. Ordered Combo roll. Shape of roll was not correct... Having lived in Japan for 15 years I could tell the roll maker was not Japanese. Wifes negimaki was very small. (Shes Japanese so she knows well.) Only positive was sakuhachi background music. Looking for real Japanese? Not here. Looking for fake Japanese taste? This is the place. High reviews are from people who dont know real Japanese.

I could see why this restaurant hasnt been getting many customers recently. The sushi and service has gone downhill recently, and the hibachi chicken tastes very dry, as if left out for many days. The staff does not look happy to be working there, and are often seen on their phones. Id say that the boss of this restaurant is trying, but not hard enough to enforce a strict policy on his staff. I wouldnt come back for a second time.

Sakimura is hands down our favorite restaurant in CT. The food is exceptional, and importantly, always consistent. The service is great - the staff is really friendly, and knows all the regulars. Impressive from start to finish, and highly recommended. No other sushi restaurant will do, after you go to Sakimura! The fish is devine, the rolls are creative, beautifullly presented, and mouth watering.

I stopped in here passing through town and was pleasantly surprised. I had the spicy crunchy tuna and it looks somewhat pricier than other Sushi places I had been but once my food arrived I could see why. It was a huge amount of food and i t was very fresh and delicious.

I have been going here for years. They make the most tasty dishes, beautiful presentation, very creative. Not your run of the mill sushi place. Super friendly and they remember everyones name. The hibachi is our kids favorite! Oh, and what a great atmosphere!

This is my first time been this restaurant ,because I have a groupon ,when I get there Friday night is was very busy,but they did very good job,the service was very fast,we really enjoyed this experience!

Went here for hibachi for lunch... they dont serve lunch portions and it was probably some of the worst hibachi Ive had. Maybe its better at dinner but the chicken was so dry at lunch
