If im purchasing items from a food purveyor from an established venue I dont think expecting courteous service along with the food order is too much to ask. That being said Ive eaten here four times to date. I would give Sandy Hook Deli & Catering 4 stars for the food and specials. 3 stars for counter service. The food preparers took the orders promptly and made the faire expediently enough. Good food. The Venue is clean and comfortable. Patio is out front but out alongside busy Church Hill rd. Its quite busy and noisy in the summer. The first week the person at the register was offputting enough for me to feel unwelcomed. The second time the register personnel was courteous enough. That second time was a Saturday and the Deli had run out of Roast Beef squarely in the middle of the day. Maybe thats shows they stay busy. I had to change order on the fly. Arty is a hands on and very professional. The food offerings are right on par. Id go back.

This place is delicious but for a first timer here a felt a little out of place. On how to order etc. Wish there were better drink options. I really wanted an ice water but there is no soda machine so ice was not an option. The outside dinning was awesome and its in a really cute section of town. Over all i would go to this place again and bring a few friends.

Delicious. The food is excellent and theres a huge variety. Its also one of the few places i can find "Manhattan Special" espresso soda (yes thats a thing). I just wish theyd not have a $10 credit card minimum!

Bacon egg and cheese for only 99 cents and theyre fairly large. Also taste delicious. Very nice people behind the counter, would recommend this place to friends.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. In a couple weeks they will offer food from Jordan. Fresh and Healthy.

Falafel wraps are huge and delicious! Fresh grape leaves are great too.
