Just purchased two breakfast sandwiches there and couldnt be more aghast at the price for the quality of food we received. My ham, egg, and cheese did not contain nearly enough ham to even qualify as such a sandwich. I uploaded a photo of it to their un-official Facebook place page, feel free to look before you want to order one. My counterparts prosciutto version was the same price ($5) and even appeared to be "cut" with ham to use less prosciutto. Talk about getting swindled. We read rave reviews of Bolo but never intend to go back. I was really looking forward to a breakfast sandwich this morning, and this business completely obliterated that dream.

If you find yourself in the area, maybe exercising in nearby Norton Park, then this is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. It is clearly popular among the locals. My breakfast was good, but not great. The octo-lacto-vegetarian wrap was too light on the veggies and too heavy on the cheese for my taste. I would have appreciated a single excellent potato or grain based item on the menu. The home fries were good, but not an entree. The service and atmosphere was excellent. I was tantalized by the baked treats, but I resisted on this visit. Try a bolo!

I ordered a cake through Bolo Bakery for my sisters Baby Shower. I provided a picture I found on Pinterest and the final product was even better than Pinterest image. The design was absolutely perfect! We chose almond cake with chocolate mousse filling and marble cake with raspberry mousse filling. Both cake flavors were so delicious and the cake tasted fresh! Cant thank Christina and Bolo Bakery for making my sisters shower so special!

My office used to order large orders on a weekly basis. The food USED to be amazing! Let me just say now, every time we order something for breakfast to go, it is wrong, missing something in the order or the food is missing ingredients. We order maybe once every few months and are dissappointed each time. They really should teach the cook to make the right food because it is less than satisfactory and they are losing money.

Ive been here a few times and the food is great and well priced. However one weekend I came here after being out of state for three days, this was the only transaction in CT after I got back. After I went here to eat my credit card was then used at a Kohls and TJ Maxx in Thomaston CT. Not sure if this was a coincidence or what, but I probably wont be back just to be on the safe side.

I honestly didnt get much there. I out a cappuccino and a pastry to go. The pastry was a cheese danish that was really good. I didnt like the cappuccino. The layout of the place is weird, as is trying to be a restaurant or diner thats in a pastry shop. It doesnt work. Not sure how the food is, but I wasnt interested enough to find out. Dont come with 4 or more people.

We used their bakery for our wedding, colors and designs were not accurate at all..When they dropped it off, it was too late to do anything about it.... Rather, the brown was a grey color and red was a purple color!.. it looked like a childs birthday.... I was pretty saddened and didnt want any pictures of it... Just relieved that it at least tasted good. =(

I come into Bolo almost daily, as I recently moved my business across the street. Their espresso, cookies, grilled wraps, salads...Only problem I have is theyre closed on Mondays and I always miss them! Very consistent, hard-working and wonderful food!

We love Bolo! Fresh, delicious bakery with beautiful displays. Parking is in front of the shop on the street or in the public parking lot on the right just past the shop with newer wide sidewalks.
