This is a deli/grocery store/quick bite to eat type of place. If youre expecting a full service restaurant go somewhere else. If you want a quick bite of wonderful Mexican food then this is the place for you. You order at the counter, grab a soda from the coolers, and find a seat. Its always busy because of how good the food is. Los Portales is a hidden gem.

Very disappointed with my visit there.. I went there because my friend told me that it was very good but it was before .. I imagine that they changed cooks or something because i did not like it all. Very bad service

If youre looking for authentic (non formal) Mexican food its your place. Food is awesome and good. Still only von is that place is too small for eat in and low lighted. Food is awesome.
