Tough restaurant to find on a busy street, but its worth the search! Theres a limited menu but judging from our lunches, I suspect that everything on the menu is excellent. I had the chicken cheese quesadillas, and theyre probably the best Ive ever had. Loads of thin sliced white chicken layered with melted cheese and a green salsa on the largest flour tortilla Ive ever seen! I was hungry but could barely eat more than a fourth of it! My husband had three tacos, and each was huge and wonderfully seasoned. Free chips and salsa preceded our meal -- the chips were tri-colored, thin and perfectly salted, and the fresh salsa is about the best ever . . . cool with finely chopped fresh ingredients. The only negatives would be the limited menu, sparse and dated decor, a little slow service (one person had the whole dining room to cover, but he did OK), and no fresh non-alcoholic drinks such as iced tea. None of that is a deal breaker, so well be back. I highly recommend it!

This place is very welcoming with AMAZING authentic food. The owners father even came out to tell us about the vision for the restaurant. The empanadas are tasty, but the burritos are truly to die for! The menu is short, I presume, because everything on it is delicious... and a menu can only hold but so much deliciousness! The burritos are so large youll definitely need to share or take half home. The also sell many foods "to-go", like chilled empanadas that can be oven heated and eaten later in the week. I cant believe this place has only been open a few months, its already a Norwalk hallmark in my book!

Unique! This place looks pretty odd. Im used to good, sketchy Mexican so I shrugged it off and went inside. What greeted me was an unusual little place. Friendly and pretty cool, with helpful staff. I tried the tacos, chicken and beef, and what I got was overstuffed small soft tacos, street style, with incredible filling. Wonderfully spiced meat worked with a mild salsa and the sour cream, rather than just being garnishes. Not quite what I expected, but it all worked really well. Certainly worth a try. Oh, and I saw a burrito come out. Massive, if thats your thing.

First time here and I ordered a burrito without meat, once my order came out the burrito impressed me because its the biggest one Ive seen so far. Once I gave the first bite I notice that there was a lot of meat on the middle part of the burrito, 2nd thing i notice is that the rice taste and looks like the instant ones not the one that actually is authentic. Anyways other than that the waiter and staff were super nice and the place seemed clean.

I ask for a beer and cheese borrito, they give me a cheese borrito. I ask for salsa. They give me a cup no wider than a quarter. Very stingy on the salsa which is why I asked for extra and still received their sample size that covers two chips. Good food, employees are terrible. Theyre rude and dont understand you. The male and female in today are very nice, but theres a pair of female workers that arent too pleasent.

Very laid back atmosphere with Spanish music. The server is very friendly and the food was served in less time than normal. They give you chips and salsa while you wait for the food. I tried chicken taco, chicken empanadas and chicken tamale. I liked the taco and empanadas but didnt like the tamale. There is 50 cents charge for extra salsa. It is hard to eat that taco without making a mess.

I would have given more stars. The burrito was enormous, and quite tasty. Unfortunately, service was slow. We had to ask for chips, and my wifes gazpacho took over a half hour to be served. It came with the meal. the final thing was that I found an about 1 1/2 inch piece of blue rubberband in my burrito. I know these things happen, and I wont hold it against them.

well before coming here i read good reviews but like they say its too good to be true...came on a sunday with my son no high chair available so that was a bummer order the burrito asked server what type of meat and morron didnt knew second who puts sour cream on soft tacos would never be coming back save your tine and money and go somewhere else

We tried the tacos, the flavor was pretty good and they were really well served. The decoration struggles between each other because there are some Mexican ornaments and not so Mexican at all, hard to pinpoint the style. The flavor of the tacos, even though was pretty good, seem if it was the same, just different kind of meat.

While there isnt a lot of curb appeal to bring you inside, and decor isnt much to write home about, the food is out of this world, as in "my stomach starts rumbling just thinking about eating here" good. I bring a lot of coworkers here and they are always floored how good it is.

We waited about 40 MINUTES here waiting for a burrito (yes, ONE BURRITO) I am splitting with my boyfriend. Three parties that were seated AFTER us got their dishes before us. Really?! Didnt even offer us any extra chips or salsa to hold us over. Thanks guys.

Largest, most delicious chicken burrito ever. Quesadilla was tasty, but had at least a pound of cheese. Salsa is delicious, but is served in tiny portions. They will charge extra when you request more. Friendly service, super clean environment.

This place is the real deal. Not a lot of options but thats okay because what they do is done right. Good luck finishing the burrito, not gonna happen. Owners Maria and Matt are beyond friendly. You must check it out. Oh and its BYOB.

Dont let the exterior and the no-frills interior fool you, this place is seriously awesome. The staff is as nice as can be, and its BYOB. The tacos are great. The empanadas are great. The beans and rice are great. You get the idea...

Burrito was huge. However, my husbands had a small piece of blue rubber band (like you get on a bunch of cilantro). We told tje waitress whp apologized but that was it. It also took a very long time to get our food

We ordered takeout- 10 chicken, 10 beef and 5 pork tacos plus their rice and beans. It was fantastic. Everything comes in separate containers and there is plenty of each! It makes for a nice spread.

Very authentic tacos/burritos. The options for meats are all very delicious. There is not much to the decor or atmosphere but the flavor of the food more than makes up for it.
