UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: Since my review I have tried this location again and it seems that the manager has finally taken care of the issue. Now every time I go in for a web order I am greeted as soon as I stand in the pickup area. Thank you for fixing the issue! 5 Guys is my favorite burger joint but some serious issues going on at the New Haven Amity location for web orders. The problem is the employees are not trained to greet people standing in the pickup area. I have waited 15 min and it would have gone longer if I didnt scream loud and make a scene after the first 3 times tried to get some ones attention. The employees were trying with all their might not to make eye contact. By the way its not like the place was even busy, only 1 other person in line at the time. I was even told once that I would have to go to the other line first. I told him im here for a web order its sitting right there done. He said I had to go to the other line first. What is the point of the web order if I am still the last person to get served. The first few times I made a complaint to the manager but it still goes on so im all set with ever going back to this location. I still am a fan of 5 guys and will try other locations.

Food is always good but I spent $30 and had no choice of drinks due to an issue with the 2 soda dispenors only working with the sugar free options only. I hate artificial sweeteners. I wish that I was told during the order process that my options were sugar free or substitute drinks only. I then go for ketchup and they were out. I went to the cashier and explained that the ketchup and soda were down and she shrugged her shoulders and smiled. I felt that my experience here was not worth $30 for 2 people.

Best burgers I ever tasted! The French fry servings were so large, one standard order could feed 3 people. I loved the fact that they cooked their burgers using unfrozen meat and even used freshly-cut potatoes for their fries! The service was outstanding. One time, the employees stayed 15 minutes past closing time just to make sure that we had gotten everything that we wanted. Overall, best meal for the price you pay. Id definitely go back again... and again... and again.

If you have been to Five Guys before, you know what to expect, a fresh cooked burger and tons of delicous fries. This one though has an outside set of tables that allow you to eat outside if you would like, and the inside configuration is slightly odd. You order at the back of the store, but walk into the area where people are awaiting pickup. Staff seems friendly and moves the process along well.

Good burgers and the caller was loud and fun, having a good time with the customers. My daughters (6y.o.) first time and she wants to go back just because he was to her...very funny and hilarious (she also loved her cheeseburger !!!). Only 4 stars because I still think they are a bit over priced.

I love Five Guys. Until In-N-Out comes to the East, this is my favorite burger place. Not as generous with the fries as they used to be but still the best fries around - hot and crispy. Burgers are fantastic. Coke freestyle is always a draw as well. Not cheap but worth every penny!

we where heading to the kosher market to get some food but kosher market is a bunch of rude people so we went to five guys, OMG i thought customer service died, but in five guys it hasent, very nice people! btw cheaper prices then the kosher market craphole!

Do NOT take your kids here! I definitely saw some loitering kids near the back of the outdoor seating area, and I kid you not there was a DRUG deal happening at the place. How is this tolerable? I would give 0 stars if I could.

I think five guys is always good burgers. This store hasnt gotten my fries the way I like them, and the staff are too Social, bubbly, friendly, and talkative for me. But I assume most people like that.

Cool Spot, right of the Merrit before you go through the tunnel. Easy to get to and a nice break if you are stuck in traffic.
