Love, love, love this place. This is one of the few restaurants weve enjoyed on the East Coast! Best place in Milford, CT for sure. Ive gotten the crab cakes Benedict every time because it just so satisfyingly hits the spot. Everything is perfectly cooked, spiced, well seasoned, and appropriately priced. My father in law visited from England for two weeks and insisted we keep going back in that time! My husband gets something new every time and always scrapes his plate clean. Hes ordered the spiced Indian duck tortilla, tasso, the trio, breakfast burrito, African hash, and the mushroom burger. So far, the South Indian spiced duck has been the biggest crowd pleaser and "winner" with our group. That said, the tres leches cake ALWAYS makes our dessert choice easy (and even inspired us to try to make our own). The staff is very friendly, conversational, and makes excellent recommendations. Our glasses were always full and they put fresh flowers on the tables. The decor isnt my style and its a bit crowded for my taste, but I cant blame the crowds when everything here is so darn delicious. Bonus-- If its too tough to get in, they also do take out (which was timely and just as delicious as in-house). Pictured: crab cakes Benedict, duck tortilla

Well.. I wrote a 2 page review raving about the Corner... Then my daughter pulled out the power cord to my computer. In short... I hate going out for breakfast... I make it better than every place I eat at and take pride in my eggs. The Corner put me in my place! I dream of their breakfast and would eat their Bennies for Dinner if the would just stay open. My go to: The African Hash so uniquely amazing... you will never want to eat at a diner again. My wife gets the vegetarian Flaky Flatbread which is mind blowing. They also have an easy kids menu. The decor is like a quirky B&B. The Bible, Torah, Koran & Darwin sit together on one shelf. Most of the waitstaff could look like your sister who just rolled out of bed to serve you which adds to the homely vibe. It is an anti-restaurant eating experience and I mean that in an incredibly positive way. Such a welcome change. I heard the food-Network is going to be featuring them and I wish them all the success theyve earned even if the wait will probably be much longer. This place is quaint so large groups do not really fit in here. 5 or less. Oh, and CASH OR CHECK

This place is delicious! Me and my roommate have only been up in the Milford area for a few months but we come to the corner nearly every weekend. There are so many good things on the menu that I refuse to order anything more than once until Ive tried them all. A few of my favorites have been the Beef Empanada, the French Toast, and the South Indian Pulled Duck (in a BACON wrapped tortilla!!!). The Corner looks like it has been decorated from various estate sales but that only adds to the small town restaurant mystique. Nothing helps the hangovers like some fresh squeezed OJ. I was tempted to give it 4 stars since on 1 occasion I received "slow" service but the tasty food trumps that anomaly. How crowded the restaurant is ebbs and flows throughout the morning but even when the line is out the door the wait is rarely longer than 20 minutes and once again the food is worth it!

If I could give this place more stars, then I would. The owner and waitresses were so friendly and welcoming when we walked in. My boyfriend and I had never been here before, he couldnt decide between their famous pulled Indian duck and a new maylasian pulled pork. They had the chef decide; their duck was cooked perfectly with outstanding flavors!! It really is something to need to try yourself!! Better than that, they came out with a sample of their Malaysian pork for us to try which was equally outstanding. I definitely recommend this place for people who are willing to be a little food adventurous and even if you arent, they have great options for a creative breakfast. Ps, the sweet potato hash is delicious!

Wow. Deliciousness is probably the best word to describe this place. The food is amazing, the service is amazing, and the food is amazing again! Today i got the blackened eggs and my brother got the duck and they were so mouth watering delicious. Also from when we ordered till when we got our food was faster than i expected since it is a small place and is always full of people. This is by far the best breakfast place in Conneticut and im glad its in my town. I also got the apple cider and my brother got the fresh squeezed orange juice and they were amazing as well. Also the coffee is great and always hot.

Really great food and unique options. However, I got the stuffed French toast with the tres leches which was delicious but it was so tiny. I actually left hungry. My bacon also came out hard and cold. Lastly, it is a bit of an issue not taking credit cards and not even saying on the website (at least where it is visible) that it is cash only nor do they have an ATM. We were in line waiting for a table when we saw the cash only sign and had to leave, find a bank, come back and get back in line.

The Corner is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch places to grab a bite with my friends in Milford. The staff is friendly and the random assortment of silverware and dishes makes if feel right at home and certainly adds to the charm. The food is always delicious and there are a lot of interesting dishes to try. The Corner offers many unique dishes and is a much welcomed break from the typical food you would find at other breakfast/lunch restaurants in Milford.

Oh man, we completely unexpected how good the food would be. I mean, it had a 4.9 star rating, already, so we had high hopes, but they have things on their menu that are incredibly unique and delicious! The spiced pulled pork with eggs is amaaaazzzzzing, loaded with flavor from fresh cilantro and ginger. Definitely start out with their brunch menu, and the staff will gladly recommend what you should try if you are indecisive.

Its a great place for a weekend brunch either with a significant other or with a group of friends. The wait staff is very friendly and energetic. They own early so you dont have to starve in the morning. I loved loved loved the decor! It really feels like you are in a cozy old-fashioned living room. They have authentic old books, an old-school phone . . . Its awesome! Highly recommend!!

The fact that this place is cash only totally ruined my day Noone carries cash anymore. My wife and I were starving and really looking forward to breakfast at this place after see the menu online we get there and after having to wait 15 minutes to get through the door we see the cash only sign and had to go elsewhere since our bank was nowhere nearby.

If you are looking for the BEST BREAKFAST AROUND, look no further. Their signature specials and rotating daily menu make the place a true gem in Milford. beware of long lines on Saturdays and Sundays though, and dont hesitate to eat at their bar/countertop while having a nice conversation with the owners.
