May-be it was a bad night? I dont know, this was our first time trying New Star. That will be the first and only time. Walking in to pick up, we thought someone had just put out a fire. Smoke was choking. The floor was dirty, the counter was cluttered with books and odds & ends. A woman in the back was putting food on a sheet pan that was resting on a garbage can. After arriving home, we opened up our tiny containers to find that our dishes were literally SMASHED into them. (Shrimp Pad Thai)? NO way. Overcooked, dry noodles, stale peanuts and Shrimp smaller than a quarter. The other 2 dishes we ordered were just as bad. Besides the 3 different proteins, each dish tasted exactly the same. Bland, Tasteless and just completely unappetizing.

I ordered because this restaurant has one of the highest ratings in Google, and I am very disappointed with the food. Food arrived fast, delivery guy good. I ordered a seafood delight that suppose to come with lobster, shrimp, scallop, and crab meats. I know all Chinese restaurants use imitation crab meats, but this restaurant used the bad grade ones and they put a lot of it! Lobster? No, no lobster at all! You know what they put? A half piece of craw fish meat, the so call little lobster, haha what a joke! I can eat half a pound of crayfish plus many other things in a buffet restaurant that costs the same as the price of this dish! Noway they can do this to their customers, they need to do right to their customers man!

I think most of the other reviews on here for this restaurant are fake, so here is a real one. The food is very well done, and they are very quick. Its priced similarly to other places, but the people are very nice and the customer service is good. You will enjoy the food you get here.

Best Chinese takeout in town. They are fast to deliver, happy to tweak an order of needed, and just about the nicest people Ive ever met. Try the egg rolls!
