We love Oriental Wok. The food is great and the portion sizes are good too. It is true that at times the wait is long however, it is not like they are sitting around doing nothing. The crew is busy cooking. To the people that complain about the long wait I say...they are hard at work making you food. Do you get angry at your wife or mother or girlfriend if the food is not on the table 25-30 minutes after you think it should be? This family is doing the best they can to cook great chinese food as fast as they can. We have been going to this place for over 10 years and will continue to do so no matter how long we have to wait. We dont get angry we just plan accordingly.

I dont recommend Oriental Wok. In addition to the mediocre food quality and taste, there is consistantly very poor service. My latest attempt with Oriental Wok involved calling ahead 35 minutes and then waiting in the nearly empty restaurant for 45 more minutes. The slovenly American girl counter person was evasive when I asked how long my order was taking, refused to make eye contact and would walk away, back into the kitchen area, to avoid me and other customers questions. The order took over an hour and a half to complete (a small order too) and no apology was offered. Dont bother with this place.

EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE!!!! When I ordered my food for takeout, I was told it would take 30 mins. I already thought that was a long wait time for Chinese food but I figured they might be busy with a lot of orders. I waited and waited and my order was no where in sight. I finally received my food after waiting a total of 70 minutes. Too bad the service was horrible because they food was quite good. My suggestion is to order you food well in advance. If youre hungry and want something to eat right away or you are pressed for time, avoid this place at all cost.

Mediocre usually dry and overcooked food. Prices are decent but thats about it. Dont get why people I know insist on going here. My past experiences include: an entire crushed egg shell mixed in with egg fu yung, and a vegetarian relatives meal having a piece of meat mixed into it. When said relative called them they called him a liar, to which he drove over to show them and they assured a discount on his next meal, which was never honored or recognized. Notorious for leaving things out of orders as well.

The worst service I have EVER experienced for fast food, let alone from a Chinese food restaurant! We ordered noodles over the phone, the girl said it would be about 15 minutes (now I know to always double the time from them, its never right), got there in 20 minutes, and had to wait an EXTRA 1.5 HOURS for 2 servings of NOODLES! Absolutely ridiculous, and for that ridiculous wait they only would comp us some cans of soda, not a cent off the noodles. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We ordered from them all the time and we love the food. Especially the Lo Mein. The food is usually ready in 25-30 minutes, although when you call, the girl always says 20 minutes. The food tastes fresh because they are very busy, busy is good, means they have to make the rice and noodles daily, better than other chinese places we have ordered from in the past. It usually costs about $25 for about 3 dishes and is enough to feed about 6 people. Hope that helps :)

I have always meant to go here and try it out and now that I have I was not disappointed. Whilst its mainly a takeaway you do have the opportunity to sit down and eat your food there. The food is served in takeaway containers but if you are not looking for anything fancy and are more interested in the price and the food then this is not a bad place to grab some lunch. You can eat part or all of it there and the food tastes pretty good.

Calm down about wait times, theres wait because its worth it. Paid 2x even 3x as much in Burlington for not even close to the quality and quantity of the food here. Always been consistent and delicious been coming here since before highschool because the prices are comparable to a McDonalds. Lunches at ehs were never the same. Owok staff. Keep doing what you are doing.

Best place to go before the movies (I may or may not have brought spring rolls with my to the movie theater...). I love their lo mein. Its mostly take out, and I suggest ordering ahead as the wait can be longer as a walk-in. The staff are friendly and the place is always clean.

They are the only chinese place that do not use MSG or little MGS. The portion is pretty big and the price is reasonable. Ive tried almost all chinese places in Chittenden County, but they are the best place.
