A great brunch spot. The menu boasts a mixture of traditional and somewhat adventurous dishes. The four times weve been there the food has been great: you can tell all ingredients are fresh and the portions are pleasantly healthy. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy and reasonably quiet atmosphere, even when busy. I love that they dont pack the tables so close together that youre virtually eating with strangers. Above all the service is exceptional. The waitstaff are highly professional but still open and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Leaf peepers! End your meanderings through Macedonia Brook State Park, Bulls Bridge, or Mohawk State Park with a lovely meal at Kingsley Tavern. We were guided there by last years Zagat and expected to find the Mill Stone at that address. We had two of their specials, a locally foraged mushroom risotto and the Sepe lamb moussaka, cleansing our palates with a wonderful California Josh Cabernet. Everything was super enjoyable and relaxed. The meal was a perfect way to finish our day in scenic, beautiful and rural Litchfield County.

Kingsley Tavern is excellent! Farm fresh food prepared with care. I ate there two nights in a row and both meals were delicious. Beautiful ingredients and a culinary delight. The atmosphere is relaxed with great artwork and memorabilia to engage with while you enjoy your meal. The second night I sat out on their front porch which was a great treat. Staff was friendly and courteous. All in all I highly recommend!

Had the special pork tacos, they were absolutely delicious! Called in to make a reservation, was told by whoever answered that they dont require reservations for groups of less than 5. Went there and was sat immediately. Friendly server helped us make selections and was very patient when a few of our group members couldnt decide.

Best $8 Bloody Mary I ever had! Kingsley burger is a blend of beef and lamb with an over easy egg on top. Best burger in town! Salmon burger equally delicious. Most entrees just under $20. A little pricey and slowish when busy, but well worth the wait! Overall very pleasant experience.

Salty, soggy, and sad....have to go out to eat after eating there!! Best part the portions are tiny...ate my steak sandwich just so I didnt have to look at. Staff didnt ask how are meal was, I suspect even they know its sub-par!!
