I had one of the best meals ever(rrr) this past Saturday evening at Serevan. The appetizers were AMAZING; one of them was perfectly baked then fried chicken wings that were SO good, we were fighting for them and wanted to order more but had already ordered plenty. Chicken Bastilla (Moroccan-style) was delicious and rarely have I seen that dish on a menu, we also enjoyed fresh and perfectly cooked duck breast. The atmosphere was both homey and elegant. Chef Serge is Armenian and is so passionate about ingredients and making delicious food. He has a veggie garden and an herb garden on the premises. The place is a MUST at least once to treat yourself to the best of the best. I must add that our server(S) were really sweet and attentive. A great time had by all!!

I went here for a birthday and had a great experience. Amazing, inventive food thats fancy without being pretentious, and not too expensive either. Try the rack of lamb or duck confit and go straight to heaven. Very friendly service and the ambiance is perfect; step inside, and you almost feel like youre in a restaurant off of a winding side road in rural Italy. One caveat: I dont recommend the house martini made with cucumber water, a foul concoction that seems like it was invented by a hippie with a vegetable juicer after a few bong hits. But the other cocktails are great!

I would give it 3 stars. My wifes fish dish arrived almost raw and had to be sent back for proper cooking. The baklava was a large piece and a spoon was not sharp enough to cut it into bite sized pieces. I asked the owner for a knife to cut the baklava. He never returned. Otherwise the starters and main courses were OK. The Zagat rating on the wall of 28 for food was way too high by NYC standards. I would rate the restaurant 21 for food.

Consistently excellent and inventive fare sourced from the best local farms. The chef and owner, Serge Medikians, blends the delights of ancient Persia with first-rate contemporary American. The restaurant inhabits an old wood-frame farmhouse thats cozy and comfortable, both in the bar and in the dining room. (The one negative review here should be disregarded.)

you will not find food presentation, taste or freshness like this any where as good as serevan. well worth the wait and for a reservation. a polished stone in the middle of now where - just one great place to dine!

our main courses were without exaggeration inedible. the owner/chef is a rude, egomaniacal man that has chosen the wrong profession. the worst dining experience weve had in the Hudson Valley.

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been in anywhere in the US or abroad. Be careful, all of the week-enders know about it, reservations are required.

The food is okay, but its not worth the price. If you dont want to make a fancy dinner at home, this is not a bad place to go for a celebration.
