I work in a town with very few good food options so I decided to try something new and order from the town over with this service. I didnt mind the extra money because they do need to pay a staff and gas. I was given an estimate of about 1 hour, seemed reasonable. I waited about 1 hour 45 min before I called to check on my order, the restaurant stated they made that meal over and hour ago so I called Waiter Wheels, the women that picked up told me they had a staff member quit, tonight was extra busy, the restaurants were extra slow etc. I told her I understood but that I didnt want a cold meal but she told me the driver was "right around the corner" so I waited another 10-15 min before the driver showed up. When the driver handed me the food, she complained to me about how she had to drive from her home 2 towns over to go to New Haven to pick up my food and then bring it to where I was. Um I thought that was your job? And I dont set your delivery routes sorry?..so yea most likely not a service I would use again. Also the food was cold, it was nearly $40 of cold gourmet food, it was shame.

Be aware of their up charges. I placed an order with them over the phone, never got a total (probably my fault for not asking) and when I checked my bank statement, I was shock to see how much I paid extra for delivery. I can understand about delivery charge because service needs to make money, I can understand that I tipped the driver $10 on a $40 order because they need to make money too, but I do not understand why did they up charge the menu. When called to complain they told me that it says on their website that prices are up charged. Now why will I go on the website if I am calling to place an order. Their customer service was terrible too. Some manager name DJ wouldnt even give me a better explanation other than "Go and check our website" Too bad, its a great idea but probably in wrong hands. A smart business person would have figured out a better way of making money then robing people blindly.

I have had nothing but issues anytime this service has been involved. Normally I go through Eat24 and was told last time that the issue was not them, but Eat24, however when going directly through Waiter Wheels, it was also nothing but issues and ending up having to cancel my order. At this point whoever runs the website or company needs to make sure everything functions properly and gives the right information, because it is a bit ridiculous that orders can never be processed properly and people end up waiting over an hour to have to cancel their order anyway.

Got my first order tonight. Being without a car, my choices for restaurant options are often limited, but I was craving Indian food. When placing the order, the quoted delivery time was 80 minutes, which I was willing to wait because I ordered early. The order arrived in about 45 minutes (order was placed at about 5pm on a Saturday).. This is obviously a solution for when you arent looking for a cheap and quick meal, but they do an amazing job at what they do.
