I hosted a baptismal luncheon (twin grandsons) there yesterday for 23 people. Peter and staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious, plentiful and I felt for the money an excellent value. Except for my sister all of us are from out of town (6 out of state) and non of us have a relative at Maritime. Almost everyone congratulated me on my choice of location for the event. The reason I choose Maritime was because of past experiences. In addition to taking my sister there on occasion there is a group of us that have a Christmas get together there each December. There will be between 15 and 19 of us, we all order off the menu, and we request individual checks. How many places will do that? 8 to 11 checks for parties of 15 to 19 people! And I have never heard anyone say anything negative about the quality, quantity or price. A happy customer who will continue to go back. George

The previous reviews must have been from family/staff of the restaurant. The interior of the building is completely outdated, dark and just downright depressing, including empty fish tanks. Our waitress was nice enough to my children, but never offered any high chair or booster seat. There is absolutely nothing "eclectic" about their menu... The one vegetarian option available to me was Pasta Primavera, which is about what I expected from a restaurant specializing in seafood and meat, but I was asked if I wanted it white or red. Huh? My pasta showed up in a gray liquid discolored by mushrooms. It was topped with canned wax beans. I dont believe for a second that any desserts are made on the premises, my chocolate lava cake had a piece of paper on it from the package it came in. You couldnt pay me to eat there again.

Well the waitress was very friendly, however, for the price you pay for the food you would expect the quality to be much better. Me and my daughters all had something with stuffing cant imagine what the recipe for that was but it was awful couldnt eat it at all almost made me sick. My husband ordered ribs that where supposed to be pork definetly where beef, wrong dressing on one of the salads, and I have had lobster bisque many times and I love it, but could not bring myself to eat this one. My steak was good. The only person in our party that liked his food was my son who had the salmon. All in all not worth my time or money.

Great food, nice service, decent prices too. Our favorites include the fried calamari - always tastes fresh and crispy. Great clam chowder and lobster bisque! Burgers are delicious and the full dinners are good (and even come with a salad, unlike many places these days). The best part is their homemade cheesecake - addictive!

Over priced diner food. I have visited twice and wont again. Service was sub par and the over priced food I received was not fresh. Make the inside and the food as pretty as the outside and maybe Ill return.

Ive eaten here a few times, always a good experience and good size meals. They have a huge projection TV for football Sundays. Its a good place to grab a quick lunch too, prices are reasonable.
