This small, relatively new pizzeria is serving tasty, reasonably priced pizzas, panninis, grinders and salads. The inside is casual, but the special ceramic pizza oven produces pizza with incredible textures and flavors. For BYOB fans, this restaurant is not only BYOB, but an excellent wine shop is right next store. On occassion, I have placed my food order at the restaurant, bopped into the wine store and returned before my meal is served. The restaurant also serves excellent breakfasts on weekends. Their Tex-Mex classics, including huevos rancheros, are excellent, but they also serve a family friendly menu with great looking waffles and other crowd pleasers for kids. This seems to be family affair, which is always encouraging in my book. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I am from NYC, married to an Italian, and also lived in Italy, I consider myself a good judge of pizza. I have tried pizza at every pizzeria in Avon, and was not happy, never consistant. This place always delivers same quality, I love the fact that the owner is always there, I have seen him check the bottom of the crust for perfection, plus they have Avery soda my kids love. They do deliver. Simply a WINNER!!!

After a poor experience at Naples we had decided to try something a bit different, so we went to Pomodors. We were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by the most outstanding customer service and wonderful pizza. A quaint unexpected surprise and an amazing meal is what we received. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area. A local gem in Farmington is what Pomodoros is.

Omg. Pre ordered the new pizza cones they had 4 delivery only for tues july 12th 2016. They are amazing and cant believe no one else in ct did this b4. Everyone at my work luved them n when i brought them home 4 my kids they were pumped 2 have pizza shaped like an ice cream. I really hope this stays at the pizzaria cuz alot of people i know wana order them

We are very fortunate to have this incredible pizza place near by! Definitely the best pizza we have ever had! (Naples, Pepes....dont even come close). Do yourself a favor and get the sausage with peppers or onions! The crust makes the pizza, but the sausage is amazing! The guys working down there are also top notch. All around 5 stars.

As a man that mas eaten Pizza all my life, never have I encountered pizza with such consistency, freshness, and authentic flavor as the pizza at Pizzeria Pomodoro. The owner and employees are approachable friendly people that take pride in their product. This is the best pizza in the greater Hartford area.

This person writing this review(me) has livedin 3 years in Italy and knows true pizza. From what Ive tasted in Italy and anywhere else in Connecticut I have never tasted the approximate taste of Italian style pizza until Pomodoros ...you guys are original taste budof maestros bar NONE.

Ordered compania salad got canned tuna drizzled with balsamic called to inform was dismissed. 11 dollars for canned tuna and balsamic and cheese the salad has 5 ingredients. One Custer no line people were making personal dishes Im back no excuse for this. Would not advise

Very good italian-style pizza. I dont care for the cheap, "greek" style pizza with the puffy crust and fake cheese. I found Pomodoros when Naples was too busy, and now come here regularly. Lots of pepperoni. Not quite as thin crust as Naples, but very good pizza.

Excellent service! Very nice gentleman agreed to deliver to Winding Trails. Only took 20 minutes. Good pizza, reminds me of NYC street pizza, big foldable slices, thin crust, a little greasy, but not too greasy.

Pomodoro is by far the best pizzeria in town. With friendly faces, fresh ingedients, and a great atmosphere they cant be beat! Their speciaty pies are supurb and paninis are top notch! My favorite by far!!!
