Absolute Rubbish! I ordered "marinated" chicken, thinking that with such a simple dish, its impossible to mess up. However the lovely cooks at Sandpiper have proved me wrong, its possible to serve stiff, rock hard, tasteless, bread like chicken to a customer and then give attitude when complained about. If your "marination" is ONLY olive oil, why claim it as marinated or not put a disclaimer. After my horrendous meal that killed my appetite, I walked outside only to find my car blocked in by another one. After asking 3 staff members, they proceeded to do nothing, until the car owners finished their dinner a long while later and moved their car when they were ready to leave. I would give 0 stars if I could, this place needs to be washed down a Sand Pipe.

I love the service and the food. I also love the choices of eating inside or outside. They are very gracious host , and its a great place for students to work summer jobs. The view is spectacular as its right across from the beach. And right next door is a wonderful playground and fountain for the kids. Its a local gem, but I imagine people will travel quite a distance because the food is so delicious. Not to mention of the best Bloody Marys Ive ever had. I wanted to be positive about the Bloody Mary so I tried it a couple of times once for an appetizer and whats for dessert.

Brought the extended family here for lunch when they came to visit for a weekend. Its within a short bike ride of my house, and the view of the water is lovely. The management is a bit gruff- told my mom she couldnt use the shade umbrella at our outside seating because of the wind, but there was no wind---there was, however, a very aggressive cadre of flies. That said, the food is great-- the lobster was perfect, the cole slaw is made the way I like it, and the mussels and clams were delectable.

Very friendly service topped off with the best lobster roll Ive had in a very long time. For a small fee you can switch the fries for the onion rings. As good as the cole slaw was, they could have served a little more, but then you would have had to have the room for it. I can only vouch for the lobster roll, since that was what we both ordered. The ambiance was very nice, if you dont mind nautical. After all, most people go there for the seafood and it all blends in nicely!

Anyone who is looking for delicious seafood, a friendly atmosphere, and a great place to take friends and family, the Sandpiper is the place. Everything we have ordered has been amazing, including their incredible New England clam chowder and their sweet and perfectly cooked fried clams! We love the Sandpiper, it is one of our favorite restaurants!

Place has gone down hill... Kids meals with no drink included... get a Milk or Chocolate Milk yeah... $3.25 for kids cup. Food was slow to come out and restaurant was not busy. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us often. Quality if the food has gone down each time we have come. Prices have gone up too. Might be our last time going. Sad to say.

Food was ok, a must is check your take out order to make sure everything is right and in there. For some reason the quility and quantity is much better if you eat there than if you take it out. You can sit inside or they have a great screened in area also. Wait staff is good. And you get your food pretty quick with either take out or eat in

Found a thumb screw in my new England clam chowder that I ordered from takeout this evening at 8 pm. I called to make them aware so that they could check their kitchen/equipment and was shown literally no concern and was actually given a slight attitude by the girl on the phone as if I was inconveniencing her somehow.

An OK place to meet for lunch, but not a go-to destination. Food is mostly pre-packed commercial fare, but served hot. Dining room and entrance are pretty flat, but with bumps that are awkward for seniors with walkers or wheelchairs. Tables are arranged so that any seat is a meandering walk.

We ordered the combination seafood, they are soooooo cheap. They stated two people can eat this, my husband could eat this plate by himself. Its not even a platter its a plate, the scallops were soft I almost vomited

Went there with a bunch of friends to satisfy a lobster craving. Craving satisfied! Waitress was friendly and food came quickly. We had lobsters and steamers on the side.
