This resturant is overpriced IMO. It serves very good food but the naan was a downer and felt like kanai naan from a grocery store. The kadai paneer had a definite style that was though not authentic to North Indian, it was very flavorful. Overall the food was fully enjoyable. If you are in this region, between Coromandel and Tawa, you cannot complain about lack to good Indian food. Next trip to this place, I will sample the malai kofta and dal makhani - two items that need delicate and patient preparations.

This is a reasonably priced Indian restaurant with the best menu choices ever seen in an Indian cuisine. The food is spicy and can be ordered spicier if desired. For the past 7 years, this is the only Indian restaurant i would want to eat at. Decor is ordinary. The restaurant is usually full with non- Indian patrons so reservations are recommended during peak hours.

Very good authentic Indian food. The hosts are very good and very well spoken. They will try to accommodate your needs even though it is not part of the menu card. One of the guys there is very knowledgeable on the alcohols, specifically whiskey and wine. I would say that the place is costlier than the other counter parts.

great food! the best indian weve had outside of the uk. prices are very reasonable and the decor is very tasteful. the wonderful wine list is more akin to that which youd expect at a top notch steakhouse than a small indian restaurant. the service was very timely, although the servers were somewhat difficult to understand.

The weekends are the best!!! Always a buffet for $16.99 all u can eat. They also always give you an appetizer free of charge the during the weekend. They also change up the menu every weekend. Everybody is very friendly and very, accommodating! Food is very fresh and authentic!!!

the darien location is so completely unassuming buried in a strip mall, but entering the restaurant is like stepping into another world. the food is interesting, nicely prepared and presented, and tasty. chicken dishes have a tendency to be a bit dry. app

I have had lots of good Indian food, but this is the best. The chef is inventive so you get interesting variations of what you would get elsewhere and dishes no other restaurant in Connecticut has. The restaurant is not fancy, but the food is excellent.

Like their veggie bowel with eggplant . Have been there twice with friends in the evening. But the waitress with big eyes told me their lunch allure kids. I will definitely take my kids there next time when we pass by Darien town.

We ordered Masala Dosa for takeout. The filling was excessively salty and the coconut chutney didnt taste fresh. Compared to Coromandel, India House in Norwalk charges less for dosa (and other dishes too) and tastes better.

My Favorite Indian food here. Go Nowhere else. Quality of Tandoori chicken - the Best. No over cooking it like 95% Indian joints. Other entrées super awesome too.

Their take out service is very poor. Attendants need more training and attentiveness. They served me wrong order while I was there for lunch today.

THEY ALWAYS HAVE INTERESTING DISHES THAT YOU NEVER SEE AT OTHER INDIAN RESTAURANTS. A DELICATE HAND WITH THE SEASONING. THINGS ALWAYS TASTE FRESH.
