Came here with the parents on fathers day. We had a reservation, seated right away. The place does what its known for well, bbq. And, who I assume was, the owner was very friendly and checked in with us. Those are the positives, as for the negatives... We ordered the fried pickle app, which was 6 dollars for 6 small slices of not quite ripe pickles. For my meal, I had chicken tenders and fries as the family likes bbq but I do not. Usually chicken tenders are a safe bet, not here. Stale, burnt, dry, and unseasoned - made only with what seems to be cornmeal. My sister and my boyfriend had mac and cheese sides, which was also bland and almost no cheese. My other sister ordered the salmon, which she also described as bland and almost like they boiled it before breifly "grilling it". Not sure how close that is to the real prep, but as taste goes... Took well over an hour to get our meal. And over 40 minutes for a basket of bread, which we only were brought after we noticed all the tables around us had some - but not us. Waiting time felt like it was much longer though. The restaurant is very loud which made conversation difficult. And theres zero reception in the area (at least for my carrier) and no wifi. I ordered a 4 dollar sweet tea which came in a tiny almost sort of fishbowl looking thing, which was horrible to hold. No big deal, until I saw a man next to us recieve his sweet tea in a large mason jar. A normal sized cup that was functional to hold. And no refills on anything but water, which made being short changed even worse. Not the worst thing, but kind of an icing on the cake. Our waitress was frequently nowhere to be seen. When she was there, speech was met with awkward mile long stares. We were seated in a corner to accommodate our party of 6. Which may have lead to our being mostly forgotten by our server. The lighting in this corner was minimal. The table actually had no lights installed in the ceiling above, which is not fault of the owner or server. There was a lamp above the table but at a extremely dim setting which cause headaches in two party members from eye strain. The table adjacent to us were using their phone flashlights to read the menu. They did raise the lighting slightly upon request. Long story short, if your going for bar-b-que and only bar-b-que, enjoy! If youre looking for anything else, bringing along picky eaters, or people with sensitivities - STAY AWAY.

I visited this place during its soft opening. Wow is the only word I had in mind when it comes to the meats, service, and the sides. I was wasnt expecting to have the awesome experience and delight that I did when during a soft opening to a new restaurant and eating the food from this place. The meats are seasoned and smoked perfectly. The brisket was like butter in its softened state; it melts in your mouth. I could taste either truffle oil or salt as part of the seasoning for the macaroni and cheese, exquisite! The corn bread was nice and buttery, full of flavor along with the hush puppies .To top everything off the home made sauces form Chef Joe was so delicious that I could have drank each in an 8 ounce cup and have asked for a second serving. The place was filled with life when we went. My only recommendation is sound attenuation panels to help keep down all the fun people are having. My hat goes off to the founding family member and Chef Joe as well as the staff: very pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves BBQ and a good time. Simply put, this is not only good eating; its fantastic eating experience. It also has a nice full bar with excellent beer selections too! I definitely give CUE BBQ five stars and then some. Ill be back!

Called and reserved table. Arrived and seated quickly. Heard a lot of positive feedback... greatly disappointed. Seriously overpriced. Good comes out at different times, not all at once. Appetizer sweet potato sausage chili was flavorful. The came the entrees: ribs good, steak was way undercooked, asked for med rare, got very rare aka raw. Fried onion was rubbery and coating fell off, inedible. Baked potato was probably the best part. Salty caramel martini came highly recommend by our server after Id ask for a glass of wine. Utterly salty and sickenly sweet. Waitress asked if I liked it, said no. She did offer to get me another drink but for $12, I punished myself and drank the rest. Dont think we will be back.

Got takeout 4 times from here. The first 2 times the food was amazing, fall of the bone ribs, tender and juicy brisket and amazing pulled pork. Then the last 2 times I got chewy and fatty ribs and brisket with decent pulled pork. If the food quality was consistent I would be giving this place 5 stars. But when you never know what your going to get, its hard to recommend. Staff is friendly and attentive. Theres a few good beers on tap and there appears to be a good whiskey selection too. Corn bread is amazing!

Went there last night, because that was a new BBQ restaurant opened, well dont wast your money, soup was ok, main course 1/2 rack of rib and sweet sausage, both were luke warm at best, fries were ordered well done, sent them back and came back out same way..........the only good thing were the Restaurant Depot onion rings and the wine. Waitress even knew because I heard her ask the next couple to me, how was everything, she knew not to ask me that............

This place has some great BBQ. Ordered the burrata and little neck clams for appetizers and both were fantastic. The ribs are smoked nicely but doesnt have an overpowering smoke flavor. The flight of sauces are great so the sauce never becomes monotonous. This is the kind of place Danbury needs amount the endless string of pizzerias and Chinese restaurants.

Amazing. The best barb b que this side of the Mississippi. The dirty steak, empanadas, short ribs were all delicious. Crazy flavors. Excellent, friendly, attentive staff. The owner checked in on us multiple times to make sure everything was good. Seated promptly, attentive service staff. Wonderful. We will be back!

Our dinners were great!! We started with the nachos which were delicious. Filet mignon was very tender and cooked just right. I loved the soft cooked egg combination with the filet. Dont leave without trying the ice box dessert!!
