White people will eat anything even each other and that is exactly what I seen being served at this place, old stale air bitten meat sour tasting chopped onions curded sauce and a bunch of other circus food for clowns, I orders a burrito with stale dried chicken bits corn and chipotle flavored squirt sauce , that taste and smelled like fish, ,,listen up,, you have a bunch of complacent people in here serving old food I would examine every item before they scoop and splat it onto your tortilla or bowl,, these ppl dont care, theyd feed you roadkill if they could get away with it,, and if tastes or looks funny,, return it for your money back immediately! Yuck UPDATE! Look at the robotic response people get from management when they write a truthful review wow!!! Hey management instead of questioning the lady why dont you compensate her instead?? As if she is lying, as if Im lying aswell , she already explained when she got it, what she ordered and her dissatisfaction! believe me people this place serves nasty nasty food! and its absolutely true! The fake 5 star reviews are pathetic and without integrity when placed next to a real review, like mine and the others... Respect your consumers salsa fresca! Yuck!

I stopped in yesterday on my way home after a trip to Cosco. I ordered a burrito, and was extremely dissatisfied. I know it wasnt peak hours, but that no excuse to serve people cold food thats supposed to be hot. It wasnt even close to warm. The vegetables were soft and mushy, as if they had been sitting for days. The burrito was so overstuffed with rice that the preparer couldnt even close it. When I tried to eat the entire thing opened dumping all the filling before my first bite. Im vegetarian, so I ordered the veggy burrito, which they charge the same price as meat filled. They charged me and extra $2.50 for the guacamole bringing my burrito total to a cost of over $12, for a cold mushy mess that I couldnt even bring myself to eat. Waste of time and money.

I was at the grand opening, quite by accident, and we really enjoyed it. Continued to go at least once a week for months. Finally a decent burrito place! But every time Ive come in the past several months, its gotten worse and worse. The food is still great, buy the staff is downright awful. Every time I come, its like every customer that walks through the door is an inconvenience. Once Moes opened, we started going there more, because even though SF has better food by far, the staff is so unconscionably rude. Were here tonight and Im pretty sure its our last time, which saddens me, because we had such high hopes. Oh well. Moes is more run of the mill, but at least the customers arent an inconvenience.

Went to Salsa Fresca yesterday and got a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice salsa, tomatoes, cilantro, and guacamole( 1.25 extra but so worth it) and cheese. I loved it and Highly recommend it. I attempted to bring some home to have for my lunch at work today. It didnt make it home it was soo good. Im really wanting more now that Im writing a review. I love that it came with chips and salsa. I hope one opens in New Haven soon so I can get this while Im at school too. everything was so fresh and tasteful.

At 1st I thought I found an alternative to Chipotle, it cost slightly less, but honestly, I have yet to go in there and bought a plate of food I was completely satisfied with. Serv is fast, but thats because its never full. The chicken dices dont convince me as chicken, and their salad / condiments menu is too broad. Allows you to screw up your order (on your own) easily. Maybe I just dont know what I want and like, but for some reason, I dont have that problem @ Chipotle, or Moes. Both nearby.

I went to the grand opening and had such a pleasant experience! The customer service was great, they were so friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, I got the beef tacos which had great flavor and it came with extra chips and salsa, which you didnt have to pay extra for like you do at Chipotle. I will absolutely be back for more! I definitely recommend Salsa Fresca over Chipotle. They have a better environmental commitment and produce no waste for landfills! LOVE IT!

If you like fresh Mexican food, youve got to stop in and try Salsa Fresca. We were heading to the lake for the day and decided to grab a few burritos for lunch. My wife had the burrito bowl with chicken and guacamole and I had a chicken burrito myself and loved it. Guacamole was fresh, the service was great and they threw in some extra chips and salsa for us. Will go back and recommend!

The food is great, however, Im giving it 1 star because the person making my food used the same gloves to cash the previous customer... she didnt even bother to change or wash her hand... unsanitary and against health code... Im sure she was a manager because she was wearing Red shirt unlike the other employee working with her...

Kinda pricey good service they give you alot of rice make the food look like you got alot but you didnt. They cheap out on alot of things if you notice they are poren control on the cheese and the other stuff they only give you a little bit of. The beans arent fresh they pretty tiny too.

A great small chain that growing in the CT area. This location has recently opened and I have tried their burritos and nachos. This is based on the counter style where you pick you choices and have add the meat and other options that you want.

The ingredients, particularly the vegetables like the tomatoes and lettuce, taste a lot fresher than the competitors. Ive gotten everything on the menu and go at least twice a week. Its both reliably filling and good tasting.

Food ok. Prices are high. Qdoba is much better taste and prices. Certainly this place is better then Chipotle chain. They have to understand people dont have tons of money to spend for lunch

Moes is better price wise and quality and quantity. Got some nachos asked for extra chips they. Charge for it but give with other plates free. At Moes its atomically free.

Almost as good as Chipotle although no steak burritos. And sometimes, like today, they run out of items like guacamole and lemonade.

Great food, quality & freshness! Better than chipotle or Moes. My only complaint is no ice tea for beverages.
