I am mad at myself for not going to this place sooner! I started coming here last winter after I became vegetarian (again-this time for good). I walked in and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the delicious looking food displayed on the steamer table/buffet. What impresses me is that Mr.Shandal makes everything from scratch. I always get the pick four: Rasta Pasta, BBQ TOFU-my FAVORITE, Rice and beans, the vegan Stew – it has the most delicious carrots and gravy youve ever had in your life! The food is delicious, 100% vegan, filling, affordable, and just about perfect. If you are looking for kale and quinoa this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for 100% vegan, delicious, comfort "fill your belly food -served by one of the most genuinely nicest people- Ive ever met in my life" this is the place for you!!

Im not vegan because I do eat white meat only (no pork or beef) and I do not eat any dairy or egg products. It is very difficult to eat out anywhere with todays popular cuisines. This guy was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is absolutely amazing. My first time there was today and to be honest, I will be eating there often. The best part is everything is vegan. I would bet meat lovers and vegans alike would like this place. Food is just great.

Very small portions, watery food and the cook is paranoid, he assumed something from a conversation another customer and I was having smh. We were both from out of town new to the area speaking about trying new vegetarian foods, he was ear hustling and getting it wrong. I will never go back there especially since the food isnt up to par anyway plz

It is honestly amazing and one of the best if not the best vegan restaurant I have had. Also, the owner himself is such a nice man! If I could give this place one thousand stars I would. The food is great. Each dish is tasty, flavorful, and distinct. You can see the effort the chef puts into the food (Tofu is well marinated, the seasoning in each dish is on point that each bite did not disappoint.). The irish moss drink is really good too. Also, it is all vegan!

Been going here for 2-3 years now, never have I ever been disappointed, the food is always great and still mind blows me all the time I go and grab something to eat, THE BEST VEGAN FOOD EVER !!!!! Shandal is a great guy as well. I will recommend this place to anyone !!

Offers vegan combo plates of some interesting mixes of ethnic (mainly Jamaican) cuisine. The Rasta Pasta and curry potatoes were great. Friendly staff. Dont let the sketchiness of the neighborhood keep you from trying this place out.

All in all, the food was really good. The bottled juice was the perfect finish as well. My favorite is the BBQ tofu. The flavor wasnt overpowering, and just right. Ill be back for more.
