Ive been going to this place for over 25 years and have always enjoyed the service and food until yesterday. Connie was our waitress. I was having coffee with a business associate and told her I would order some breakfast after we discussed a quote he was preparing for me. She came to our table 4 times in 10 minutes making comments about the fact we were taking up "too large a table just for coffee." Also, "we dont let people do meetings here". and other insults. After he left I asked her to sit down for just a minute to discuss this and was told "Im not sitting down, Im too busy to sit down!!" When I told her how rude and embarrassing her behavior was, she just kept ranting about how I was still just taking up her "space". Whew! That ladys been there toooooo long. Ive never been treated like that in a restaurant. Appleridge is and has always been a great place, I just hope they arent losing customers because of her. Never did get breakfast....just left.

i asked for no cheese on my food but it ended up coming with it __ok mistakes happen but when i returned (it was an order to go ) i was verbally attacked by both waitresses, that the omelet doesnt come with cheese and they made me feel like it was my fault, she said since it did not come with cheese she thought i said add it (there is the mistake witch happens) but then when i replied i asked from NO cheese i was told to calm down then came the verbal assault by both--I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE !!!! they claim the have the best food around i found it just ok the only reason i went there is they were open early on a Sunday.if you go here if your order is wrong be prepared to be put in your place as it seems they are always right NOTE: you have to post a star to post this review ,i would not even give it one star, customer srevice there is not good David Lazarus

We got the garden vegetable omelet for $8 chicken fried steak which did not come with gravy it cost you extra... if you come here order something else, it had canned mushrooms and for $8 I expect fresh mushrooms and the chicken fried steak was ruined by tasteless glue gravy that costed extra. The eggs were under cooked and flat. The only thing I like were the hash browns very delicious. All the condiment containers were greasy such as salt and pepper ketchup sugar and so is the table really if you want anything besides the hash browns you should go somewhere else. Maybe lunch is better, the people across for me had a nice looking French dip sandwich I dont know how it tasted or if it was greasy or not. Staff was friendly but not attentive, asked for a napkin had to go get it myself after 10 minutes.

I remember this place being awesome. We stopped coming because they didnt accept credit/debit cards. It was a good move to change that. We decided to try it again and came in for breakfast. Oh boy, what a disappointment. They have outgrown their location and the food was not worth waiting an hour for, not to mention how awkward it is trying to eat when theres people waiting for a table staring at you from the front of the restaurant. I felt rushed, the food was sub-par (not what I remember) and the service was compromised due to over-crowding and not enough staff. We will not be returning.

Am I in crazy town? I feel bad reviewing negatively as the staff was nice and Im sure this is someones heart and soul cafe but honestly, terrible. So extremely dirty, unsafe and the food was awful tasting heated up stock grocery food. I had a bean burrito (super dry canned beans), hubs had a laughably bland turkey sandwich (flat as a pancake) and my kids had frozen chicken tenders and canned corn. No one ate their food... $30 later. It seems really unfair that this place has a 4* status on here and it won an award! Ha. Something is not right here... And I am far from a food snob.

Wonderful experience here. This is what a diner should be. The ladies are all sweet as pie and know the locals. The food is insane- pancakes are fluffy and delicious (I got blueberry), you get SIX strips of thick bacon when you order bacon, and the eggs are delicious. For under $10, you can stuff yourself and then some. Next time I want to try the desserts. DONT go to Dennys! Ever! This is cheaper and better. Id put money on the bathrooms being cleaner.

This place was great. The people (staff and patrons both) are super friendly. The vibe is like a big neighborhood family, where regulars are chatting with each other and also with the one-timers (like us.) The service was fast and excellent, good food, ample portions, and never had to wait for a coffee refill. I never write reviews but this place motivated me to write my first.

Came in for breakfast early one day. Food and service was very good. I love a good diner with old school charm. When told the bathrooms were outside down the way i was worried...bit they were clean and well supplied. As the morning went along more people showed up and the wait staff seemed to know everyone. A good sign that the locals know where the best breakfast in town is

Would give 0 stars if could. Horrible breakfast. Husband ordered eggs over easy they came out poached like a rubber ball. Same thing on my eggs benedict. The gravy on the biscuits was like eating paste. Will never go back there. Not to mention it cost us 35.00 with tip for 2 people.

This place has definitely worn out its building. There is too many people for only two waitresses to get done. Need a bigger place and more labor to take care of the patrons. Food is good, but not worth waiting an hour because the location is too small.

My husband and I just love this cafe. We visit almost every time we come down from the mountains. The service is friendly, the prices are great and the food is amazing, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Cash only come check it out!

I just wanted some breakfast on my birthday. I asked if any booths were available and they said no, but Id be just a minute. After 3 other groups were seated before me, it was clear my business wasnt important to them.

Awful service, NASTY facilities, do not recommend. Took almost 30 minutes to get service, food wasnt good and the place is a pigsty. Have never been in such a dirty restaurant.
