I have been to this place several times. The old lady who works the counter is rude. I think she is racist. If you are mexican, you can get decent service from her. She acts noticeably different if you are white. On my last visit, I waited 45 minutes for 2 breakfast burritos. Evidently my order ticket somehow got mixed up with the tickets that were already completed. When I got home, I found RAW BACON in my breakfast burrito. I will never eat at this place again. The good was not that good anyways. I only went there because it is right around the corner from my house. I would not recommend this place.

After reading a few articles and blogs looking for tacos al pastor I hit upon this place and decided to go there for lunch today. The exterior is pretty shabby but once inside it looks like a nice mom&pop place. The food was really good. The tacos al pastor did not disappoint. It looked like the owner runs the place. He was very friendly and I will definitely be back. As I was leaving the owner let me know that they put out the "trompo" and serve tacos al pastor street style on Fridays after 5pm. I will definitely be there. A great place for authentic mexican.

The location/atmosphere is less than desirable. The food on the other hand, is very good! I have ate here 4-5 times and every time I leave, I am very pleased with the food. The green chili is perfect and the owner is a friendly well traveled chief.(yes chief not a cook) He has traveled the globe learning different cooking techniques... (so he says???) If your looking for a great little dive with very good Mexican food..This is the place.

The people make this place -- they are always enthusiastic and fun. The food is pretty good, but there is better Mexican food to be had nearby. The location is pretty miserable, in a strip mall with a parking lot that is challenging to make it through in a low car. But they do a good molcajete and they have pastor sometimes, too. Yum!

Great food and Great service!!!! I have been looking for a great mexican resturant since moving here from Los Angeles where the Mexican food is seriuosly good.....Great Menu and prices, dont let the location deter you these folks make great food and their service is top notch!

The lady took forever to come to the front and take our order and then when she finally came she was acting like she was drunk and was very rude and took our order wrong. This is the 2nd time she acts rude and weird. Never will i come here again!

Extensive menu and the more esoteric items are the ones you will want to sample. Family run. An unassuming location (to say the least), but quality food at a fair price. Probably better for carry out than dining in.

Toluca wasnt very good, but it has been replaced with "La Torteria". This place is really good. A bit of a language barrier but I love getting the family combo with pastor and carnitas.

Great home style Mexican food prepared and served by the owners...located at the corner of 92 and Lowell in a little strip mall, worth a stop and a place that Guy Fieri would visit.
