My kids have food allergies (Milk/Egg) and so we love Mexican food. The fancy place closer in Sunnyside was $15 a plate and had special spicy sauce I didnt think my kids would eat, so we decided to try out Juarez. They were so nice and accommodating, the portions were right, the cost was right, the flavor was right - the pulled beef was so deliciously tender, the refried beans were excellent - not too spicy, tortillas were spot on. So we all loved the meal (it was takeout). He even threw in Guac for free because I had to come back for the refried beans. We were all pleased with the meal. The next morning, a few hours before our flight left town, my youngest started complaining about his belly hurting (sharp pain - kind of scary). None of the local emergency rooms could fit us in before our flight. We serendipitously discovered an emergency room near the airport and they got us in immediately to see a Doctor who thought that it was probably food poisoning or a stomach bug and OKd us to get on our flight. We spent the next 6 hours (not just him but all 4 of us) taking turns in the plane restroom. Im not saying I know for sure it was Juarez - if I did, my rating would be a 1 - but if they read this, I hope they will consider the possibility that there could be some food prep procedure improvements to prevent this sort of thing from happening, because otherwise - they have a great thing going.

The first time I came here, about a year ago, the mojarra frita (an entire fried fish, served with a huge plate of rice, beans and salad) blew me away. It was succulent, the skin perfectly crispy...I was in heaven! They also offered a choice of three salsas with tortilla chips to start off. I returned today and ordered the same thing...alas, it didnt live up to the first experience. There was something a bit off with my food...perhaps they cooked a fish that hadnt fully thawed? I dont know. And they gave me just one salsa, so hot I could barely eat it. I think this gringa will search elsewhere for her next mojarra frita.

Decided to come try this taco stand while I was in DTLA and im so happy that we came here! The owner was super friendly and the taco selection was really interesting. We wanted to get 3 tacos but we didnt know what to get other than the beef or chicken so he said hell make something up for us and all 3 were BOMBB LOL such interesting mixture of toppings but they all work well together I didnt know that for every 3 people buy he gives back one to the homeless such a kind gesture ! Definitely going to stop by when im craving some tacos when im in the area again , Juarez Mexican Food is best.

I had the fajita plate and was underwhelmed by the side dish of rice and beans. Also my meal was missing the avocados. The bill was more than it should have been but my girlfriend paid and is not one to raise a fuss. In this case trying something new merely reinforced our other favorite places in town.

I was very impressed with how inviting and friendly this place was. It felt as though I was visiting a persons home. Food was delicious!! You must check this place out. Please forget the chain food restaurants and waken your palette with flavor and give it a try!

Went in here and got a smothered burrito and while the meat was good the chili was horrible, tasted like vinegar with chili strips would not recommend to anyone

Barbacoa by the pound with all the fixings to go to make tacos at home, down to the hot tortillas. Best in town Id say.
