If youre in Vail and you dont stop by this great spot, youre crazy! The food is just plain great, the environment is cozy and the staff are not only knowledgeable but show up at every table with a smile and a warm welcome. You really feel like part of the Westside family! Their breakfast/brunch goes until 4pm with a very very large number of ridiculously fabulous menu items such as: Monster Truck Eggs Benedict (yes, thats a cheddar biscuit, fried chicken AND house pulled pork), a MASSIVE breakfast burrito smothered in house pork green chili, Palasaide Peaches & Cream Pancakes (to die for) and MONKEY BREAD FRENCH TOAST (yes, you read that right). Also on the Breakfast Menu? Only one of the best Bloody Marys Ive ever had - and thats saying a lot! A massive bevvie in your choice of flavors: House, Bacon or Spicy with a great little garnish skewer, big ol celery stalk and a delightful strip of candied bacon! Plus, they serve it with a short glass of Fat Tire on the side - how awesome is that? Lunch & Dinner options are equally as yummy and specials every night of the week! Again, if youre in the area - dont miss out... get yourself over there ASAP! :)

I eat breakfast here about twice a month, and it is hands down the best breakfast food Ive ever had. The menu is creative and expansive, the food is delicious, the drinks are bomb, the waitstaff are friendly and on top of things, the vibe is great, and the portions are big enough for leftovers. It gets busy on weekend mornings, but thats a testament to the all-around quality. Just get there early. Its a bit pricey too but you wont find a better and more unique selection of benedicts or skillets. Totally worth it every time. Everytime someone visits I make sure to take them here.

Ive been to The Westside Cafe more times than I can count, and each and every time is better than the last. The bacon bloody mary is to die for, and it comes with a side car of cold frosty Fat Tire! What more could you ask for? Any "Benedict" item that you order will knock your socks off. You also cant go wrong with the dirty biscuits and gravy. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, and one of my favorite things to do is watch the Broncos game while sitting at the bar! Im already thinking about what Im going to order the next time I go! Well done guys, well done!!!!!

I am a Vail "local" and eat here often at least 2-3 times a month. Its about time that I write a review. Obviously if I come here often, I must like it, right? Well, I do. It has a cozy atmosphere and the food is very good. They Captain Crunch French toast is to die for and probably should be considered a dessert instead of a breakfast item. The salads are fresh and delicious. The Tourists breakfast special is not as good as the Locals Special, you will have to check out the menu to understand what this means! Oh dont forget to try on a Bloody Mary, they are yummy! Enjoy!

My family and I (husband, myself, and 2 kids) visited this restaurant for lunch a few days ago. The dining room was somewhat hot which made us not very comfortable. Our waitress was really friendly, but took a long time to come and take our order and she took a long time again to even bring our drinks. The restaurant wasnt overly busy at the time of our visit either. Once we finally received our lunch, it was really tasty and we enjoyed the meal. However, the service could stand some improvement and if you was on a tight time schedule, I would not recommend eating here.

The worst restaurant in the valley. If you are looking for a good breakfast or quick meal, this is a terrible choice because you will wait for half an hour before the waiter or waitress realizes they havent even put your order in yet. Id like for it to be a great place to go since it is so close to where I work but every time I am in there the service is terrible...almost amazingly so. Food is lack luster, service is horrible, prices are not worth it. I recommend Northside in Avon or Yetis in Vail if you want a great breakfast and quick service

The sign on Westbound Interstate 70 a 1/2 mile before the West Vail Exit is how we found Westside Cafe. It was in the morning (wanting breakfast) and were looking for a CAFE, not a Vail Restaurant....we end up making a great choice. My wife & I both looked at each other with dismay.....after all, we were in Vail.....we thought we were going to pay $15 for a $5 breakfast.....quite the opposite. Everyone we know that is traveling thru Vail gets the strong recommend from us about WestSide Cafe.

We, my family and I, just had dinner here. We started outside on the beautiful deck then had to run inside when a rain shower came out of nowhere. The staff was super friendly and made sure we got inside with all of our items and made sure we were comfortable at our new table...not an easy task to do quickly with a 2 & a 3 year old. Once settled at our new table the food came out quickly and was delicious. We enjoyed it all and would definitely go back again.

We try to stop here when staying or passing thru Vail. Have yet to be disappointed. All around wonderful cafe. Patio seating for nice weather. Service is friendly. Lots of breakfast options. I had the Hungry Bear Breakfast (HUGE) with Captain Crunch french toast, bacon, chorizo, eggs & hash browns. Could have fed 2 people for sure! Im not usually a hash brown fan, but I will eat the hash browns at Westside! They are crisp, flavorful and delish!

An absolute must stop for breakfast when in Vail. The menu is extensive with a lot of variety and the food is top notch; we have never been disappointed (the South of the Border benedict is fantastic). The service is up there with the food, the staff is efficient, friendly and adds to the restaurants down home atmosphere. If youre looking for really good down home comfort food and a fun, friendly atmosphere, the Westside is it.

I ate here several times while staying here for a week at a seminar. Service was consistently good, and usually just excellent. My dog was welcomed on the patio with dog biscuits and water, and everything I ordered was high quality and made as ordered. For breakfast you must have the "south of the border" Benedict (I subbed bacon for pulled pork) and the biscuits and gravy are some of the best Ive ever had. Great coffee too!

The food has always been excellent, though I have only been here for breakfast at the weekend. I usually wait 15 to 20 minutes for a table, but its worth it! My boyfriend and I will order a couple of lattes and split the Hungry Bear. Otherwise, we would never finish our meal - the portions are huge! The servers are all nice, if hurried. The decor is entertaining, I notice something new on the wall each time I go.

Great breakfast at a reasonable price. Weve brought many family and friends here for breakfast since it really is one of the best breakfasts in the valley. The variety is good, the prices are good, and the food is great. While weve almost always had great service, we have had at least one occasion where the server was clearly having a bad day and sharing it with her customers. Otherwise, Id highly recommend!
