Hands down the best Mexican food in El Paso county, maybe even the entire state of Colorado! The staff is wonderful, and the food is great! The carne asada (both the entree and the fajitas) is the standard in which I rate all others. For some extra pep have some jalapeños in grilled with the peppers and onions, albeit not for the faint hearted. Ive been eating here since they opened, and it has always been great. I make a point of going to visit every time I come home! Its nice to have a restaurant where they remember you as a regular and offer "your usual". I almost forgot to mention that the green chili is to die for. As a third generation Coloradan I know a thing or two about Mexican food, and if you havent stopped in your missing out! Cheers, Wade

Have been eating here for years, best Mexican food in Colorado Springs/Falcon. Service is always good, staff is friendly and the food is great/authentic. My favorite is the grilled pork & avocado burrito smothered in hot green chili and a bottle of Modelo Especial... delicious. The green chili is excellent, recommend any dish that includes it. On occasion, I will take the hot green chili home and mix it up eggs in the morning. Since I like my food very spicy, they are even kind enough to prepare extra spicy salsa every time I dine there, which is two-three times a month. Also recommend breakfast (La Mission breakfast burrito or Mexican skillet), best in the Falcon area.

The food is always excellent. Our server, the gentleman who is usually there each night, was gruff and not very good. He did not acknowlege when you ask something, so was not sure he even was listening. My wife asked for fresh cilantro on her burrito, he just kept writing, then asked what I wanted. I repeated, is that ok? He just kind of winked at me. I asked for lime in my water. He brought lemon, and her burrito did not have cilantro. Was not the first time he was our server and like this. Next time, will make sure to ask for a different server.

We love La Mission! Unfortunately, a few nights ago they were extremely slow with service. We usually order and have our food served within a few minutes. Super quick! But, this night no explanation or discount for an hour wait for our food. Plus, some of it was wrong. We unfortunately had to fill up on 4 refills of chips. That curved our appetite. But, we didnt go for 10 pounds of chips and salsa. They werent even at 1/3 capacity. Will be giving them a pass on this one. Just a fluke I guess. Love the food though!

Been eating here for years, love the food and have up until now liked the staff. Ordered take out this evening. The phone call was very unfriendly. Said my food would be ready in 20 minutes then hung up on me. Went to go pick up, stood at counter for a good 10 minutes before anyone even talked to me, then another 5 while they found the waitor that took my phone order, who just gave me my total, my food and walked off. The food was all thrown in the box and was cold. Very disappointed...

Me and my family usually enjoy Mexican food at Guadalajaras, but we wanted something new. First impressions: This place is a lot smaller than it looks; that was really surprising. The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about. The staff was sub-par. They just didnt seem very friendly and everything seemed rushed. Draft selection was minimal. I liked La Mission, but I think me and my family are going to stick with Guadalajaras for the near future.

I love this place. I grew up in south eastern Colorado and I KNOW real Mexican food. People that give bad reviews on flavor must not get out of the house much. Tamales made by Grandma? Really? They are awesome. As for the size of the restaraunt,, if you want a BIG place, Google to a national chain restaurant and get no true Mexican flavor and pay double. Best Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs area.

I have been eating here for 4 months. The first time I went, my grandmother, a regular, took me and my boyfriend (both of us can be very picky eaters). We both ate everything on the plate. Ive been back several times since. Every time, the staff has been very friendly, the food is great, and the ambience is relaxed. Best Mexican food in Colorado Springs, Falcon, Colorado, and Phoenix, Arizona.

We were at the end of a long, hard day, and the staff at La Mission took great care of getting us fed with the best food and a friendly atmosphere. The owner, Mike, let us know a bit about the restaurant and his familys history in the restaurant business. They live here in Falcon, so I know that were supporting a local business and a local family when we go there.

La Mission!!! How much we miss you all so much! We used to go here almost every week. The manager is always a pleasure to talk to and he always made us feel at home. I recommend anyone passing through or who lives out there, to head out to LA Mission to get some terrific quality food and a warm atmosphere. We love there queso dip, I wish I had some right now.

Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had outside of home. It is so hard to find authentic menudo that isnt too salty or too chewy and their menudo is excellent. The man who, I assume, owns the restraunt is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Definitely would recommend to anybody and everybody.

Excellent Green Chile it was great on the grilled pork and avocado burrito. Street tacos arent on the menu but ask theyre worth it. Good Margaritas cold beer very good service and everyone just really friendly. A great little local place what more could you want?

I was not impressed with this place. No lunch specials. The salsa wasnt good, my fried jalapeno tasted funny, and my main meal wasnt very tasty either. The only part I enjoyed eating was the side of calabasita. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

2 of 3 of the servers are the most genuinely nice young adults ever! The owner is super friendly and is great to chat with. Ask for the chile that comes with your meal to be really hot! Spiciest and most delicious Ive found in all of Colorado Springs !

Worst refried beans ever. Canned beans are better. The food was marginal at best and our waiter was short in response and had no personality. The beef burrito had an odd flavor and gave me a migraine. Way overpriced for the quality.

One of my absolute favorite Mexican restaurants in Colorado. Authentic Mexican food and the owner is always there. Definitely stop by here instead of the Mexican restaurant across the road.
