I went in this morning for an iced coffee, and got two shots of espresso with ice. Im not sure how you can justify doing this, as Ive worked at a coffee shop myself and think its quite courageous to hand someone espresso with ice and think they wont notice. The gentleman poured the two shots in and proceeded to feel the cup with ice until the espresso rose in level, trying to pull it off as ice coffee. When he first handed me my cup, before the liquid moved into the ice, the cup was about 3/4 full. I asked "Is this ice coffee?" "Yes," he said. I said "I didnt want room for creme," trying to see if hed admit or just tell me it was espresso and he asked "Do you want me to fill the rest with water?" Who in their right mind has ever asked a customer to fill the rest of their "iced coffee" up with water. You must be thinking "Why didnt I say something," that is because I felt so awkward, I didnt want to call the poor kid out. It wouldve made me feel uncomfortable seeing the look on his face after he got caught, but I am 100% certain I did not receive iced coffee this morning.

Let me refute, wholeheartedly, the negative review regarding Iced Coffee at Tuscany...This coffee shop is the absolute jam! I work in the building connected to the cash register building and gladly walk past the more convenient Starbucks because the coffee doesnt even compare. I used to drink Iced Coffee, but these guys really turned me on to the Iced Americano, which is what the negative review on here is referring to. Why would anyone want some crap iced coffee when they could have an iced americano? Tuscany is legit and the people that work there are friendly, knowledgeable and care about the customers. If you are looking for some dark water in your cup that someone will sell you as coffee, check out the convenience store in the Wells Fargo building next door or swing in your nearest Starbucks. Support your local businesses AND get the best coffee downtown in one fell swoop...go to Tuscany

I was in Denver for business and Tuscany Coffee and Deli was in the ground floor of my clients building. For two days, I ate lunch and dinner from their vegetarian menu. (Im not a vegetarian, but the previous two days had been nothing but burgers and fries, so I needed a break.) I had their Tuscan Veggie sandwich, their Italian Veggie sandwich, their garden salad, and their hummus appetizer and everything was delicious. I bought some items to go (to eat later for dinner) and these items were carefully packaged. Everything was carefully prepared. I actually ate each of the aforementioned items twice (once on Wed and once on Thur) so I can also attest to the consistency of their quality. The whole staff works to make sure everything is right.

I was introduced to Tuscany 5 years ago when I got frustrated standing in line for a watered down iced americano across the street at Starbucks. It was only then that I realized what true love can be! Weve since converted numerous other folks to join us in our daily crusade to this great, friendly shop. Ive been searching far and wide for anything remotely approaching the americano (iced in particular) that Tuscany serves up. Can you open one up in my neighborhood please in the Berkeley area so i dont have to go to the local crappy joint? thanks Tuscany for enlightening me!

I always enjoy supporting independent coffee shops, so I decided to check out Tuscany coffee & deli, which claims to serve locally roasted gourmet coffee. Sadly the "locally roasted beans" were some mystery brand. The poor barista clearly wanted to answer my inquiries but was completely ignorant of the coffee. Later I decided to give the place a second chance, unfortunately the loud, jocular little "dude" running the espresso machine burnt the milk and the espresso for my latte. Turns out hes the owner; mystery solved.

Every time I come to visit my sister in Denver, we have to stop here - its an amazing spot for a great coffee and breakfast. Its been our hangout spot for years, and its such a treat to come here with her. Their service has always been great, Ive tried quite a few things on their menu and never been disappointed. My personal favorite here has to be the egg, cheese, and tomato on sourdough bread, but the roasted red pepper hummus for their killer bagels is delish too.

I cant say enough good things about Tuscany, their Iced Americano, and baristas. Do yourself a favor, ignore any negative reviews and get yourself a grande Iced Americano, ask them to throw a couple raw sugars in there while its still hot. It will change your life, no joke. So fing good. The only downside is you might not enjoy coffee anywhere else after the experience. Thanks Tuscany for being awesome.

Over the last few months, the reliability of this place has gone wayy downhill. You can order a breakfast sandwich and expect to get what you ordered about 40% of the time (egg and cheese sandwich with no cheese, order a sandwich, wait 15 minutes, realize they forgot your sandwich). The system of hand writing the order on a slip of paper and handing it off to the sandwich makers is not working... P

Ive been going to the Tuscany Coffee shop at 17th and Lincoln for almost four years where Ive ordered my near weekly Americano (hot or cold). Fantastic, prompt service and great coffee as well. My orders have always been spot on. Now that the lower building lobby has been recently remodeled, it makes the place more aluring to stay, sip coffee, and people watch. And then its back to work......

This shop is at the bottom of my building. I would rather support them then Starbucks accross the street, however, for the same price, I get more coffee with the Starbucks venti coffee. I do like the coffee better here. Ive only ever gotten coffee here. Would love a place I could get a great big good cup of coffee.

I go here about 2-3 times a week for breakfast or lunch. I dont get coffee. But breakfast sandwhiches are great, usually $4. I also get the soup or sandwhich or both for lunch, maybe $7. I havent tried a lot of thier items, but the classic sandwhiches are pretty tasty.

To respond to the negative review on the iced coffee, Ive had nothing but great experiences at Tuscany. Their iced Americano is the best around. Come support a local business that does coffee way better than those large corporate chains could ever dream of.

I tried several different coffee shops while visiting in Denver. Tuscany was hands down the best! The prices were fair, too. I recommend the white mocha! Staff were friendly and the owner was on site. He had great tips for when we visit Denver again.

Tuscany Coffee is the best Denver coffee shop! Great coffee and delicious food. Service has always been great as well. They process each order quickly but carefully so customers can get on with their day.

The coffee is very bitter. Need to improve quality of the beans and the process to be truly local and differentiate yourself from Starbucks and other Corp brands .

I love Tuscany. I love the breakfast bagel and orange juice. Stuckbucks is dead last compared to Tuscany.
