the quality of the Uptown Masterpiece deli has definitely gone down hill. I refuse to pay 13.50 for sandwich that fails to meet up to my expectations. This place is all over the board---not consistent. Everyone in my office thinks this place slaps on the butter for EVERY sandwich. I had the brisket sandwich not too long ago and i could not even eat it. i picked up, the bread was soggy, and it was dripping with butter. I tried it again this week. I asked the gentleman to please have the kitchen go light on the butter. He gave me a weird response, like he thought i was crazy. The bread was so hard/stale i could barely even eat it. There was barely any meat on the sandwich, it was just BAD. I bought lunch for a co-worker so basically this was the worst $25 i have ever spent. If you eat here, order the salads NOT the sandwiches (you just never know what you are going to get)

Masterpiece is right next door to my office and up until recently, it was my favorite spot for lunch-- despite their truly outrageous prices. Last month, they rebranded and completely changed the entire menu. Nothing from the original menu, except for breakfast sandwiches, egg salad, and tuna, was spared. Sides that were previously complimentary with sandwiches, like pasta or fruit salad, are now $2 to add on. Im totally disappointed. After testing out some of the new sandwich offerings, Im reluctant to go back. Ill forever miss the ahi tuna and turkey sandwiches. If its not broken, dont fix it!

I would love to know their justification for the sudden $2 to $4 price hike on every sandwich. Imagine my shock when I walk in to discover that my favorite sandwich--the beef brisket, which HAD been $10.50--was now priced at $14.50. That is a 38% price hike! Dont get me wrong, the sandwiches are delicious, but even that isnt enough to keep this customer from walking away. They have lost at LEAST three regulars that I know of from my office alone because of this.

So while waiting to have lunch at kitchen story, I decided to try Ikes because the line was short and it was just right next door. i ordered the Menage A Trois. I came to realize that Masterpiece Deli Uptown sandwiches can fill you up for the whole day and you can divide one sandwich into two meals. overall the sandwich was delicious and the hype was real. Definitely need to try more on the menu and good thing the one in CO just opened up in westwood.

This is a sort of fast casual restaurant that is most frequented for lunch on business days. Ive always enjoyed my food here, but the prices seem a bit steep. Typically there isnt much happening near this location outside of work hours, its a little detached from the heart of downtown, and not quite a part of restaurant row along 17th avenue which really starts a couple blocks east and stretches all the way out to City Park.

Horrible experience and will never return even if someone paid for my meal, customer service was down right terrible, not very clean and food is no better than McDonalds. They offer bagels on the menu but they no longer carry them as I was told at the counter. Prices are very over the top for the type of service and food you get, please stay save your time and hard earned money for a place that cares.

Egg salad sandwich costs $10 and is awful. It claims to have capers, mayo, onion and truffle sauce, but it was essentially mashed up hard boiled eggs with a teaspoon of red onion crumbs and 3 capers...no mayo, no flavor, and it was served on cold toast. Awful, especially for the ridiculous price. Never again!!

Not impressed with the new menu! I had nothing but good things to say about the old menu and would eat here 3 to 4 times per week it was so good. I have tried 4 different menu items since it has changed and all of them have been extremely disappointing to say the least.

Great sandwhiches and they serve voodoo chips. They raised their prices by $2 a sandwich recently though and I havent been back since then. I just cant justify spending almost $20 for a sandwich and chips, which is too bad as they are really good sandwhiches.

I ordered a salad to go and yet again they forgot to add the chicken. This has happened to me multiple times. Not to mention, they charge you $3 for 4 small pieces of chicken. For the price and serving size, it is not worth it. Wont be going back!

Old menu was soooo much better. Its really hard to justify a $18 sandwich thats served with a dinky side of fruit, pastas salad, coleslaw, or bag of chips. The breakfast bagels are really good but they always seem to mess up my order.

The old menu was so much better. I loved the grilled cheese and now its gone. Not a fan of their new grab and go concept. It wasnt broke so Im not sure why they tried to fix it.

They just increased their price crazily, pastrami special went from $10 to $14.99. (Seriously?!) Good luck with that price for a small sandwich, not for me anymore.

Their sandwiches are delicious, they have nitro iced coffee from Novo on draft, and the staff is very attentive. Be wary the toasted sammies are crisp and buttery!

One of the best sandwich spot in Denver. Their white truffle egg salad is hard not to get every time I go in... Great for a quick breakfast sandi or lunch!

Good if you work nearby and need sensibly tasting, plumply priced sammiches. Just thinking about one is making me salivate.

Its gone downhill over the years. They still make a decent sandwich but your $18 is probably better spent elsewhere.

Fantastic sandwiches. Would be 5 stars, but more expensive than any place in town. $10-$12 / sandwich.

Ridiculously high prices for food that you can get at King Soopers for a fraction of the price.
