Have been here twice, first time went around 11am on a Sun. morning with a friend, got seated immediately on the patio and had a fabulous brunch. Service and food were spot on. Went about the same time with my husband, were not acknowledged by anyone when we first arrived and service staff were buzzing all around. I looked at my husband and asked if he wanted to stay and he was trying to be graciously patient. When we finally were acknowledged after standing at the host desk for over 10 min, they took our name and there was one seat at the bar, so we grabbed that and had a beverage while we waited... and waited.... and waited. The ladies in the seats at the bar next to us had received, eaten and paid for their meal while we continued to wait. Once they paid and left about 45 min after we had arrived, my husband took a seat next to me and we ordered our breakfast. We waited another 30 min for our food, which was not cooked correctly for my husband and we were grossly overcharged for the couple of extra additions for my omelette and my coffe with Baileys was about $15. The first time I had brunch at this place our total bill was about $35.00. We ended up paying almost $70 after tip for breakfast! Probably the last time Ill be going there... :(

This was my first visit to Cafe Terracotta and from reading reviews I was excited and had high expectations. Maybe it was our particular experience, but unfortunately It was less than mediocre. The staff was kind and we got seated right away, but the food is what lacked for us. We had the Mothers Day Brunch menu. Our fruit was not even close to being ripe, the scone I literally, not kidding you, could not cut in half it was so hard. They must of expected a big crowd and prepped a lot of the plates ahead of time. I dont blame them for that, but at least insure its editable. We both got Eggs Benedict and they both came out cold. We ended up speaking up about it and they were kind and said they will make it right. The waitress came back and said they will put it under the expo lights to heat it up. We declined, not wanting our food sitting under a light for 10 minutes to become warm. As far as the atmosphere; its such a cute place, downtown Littleton, the flowers and landscape. One thing I would have changed is the music selection. They had rock playing, it did not go well at all. Overall, I will not be eating there again. Disappointed by the reviews and Zagat rating.

This is one of the most cozy and delicious breakfasts spots in Colorado. Youll instantly feel at home, literally, because this spot is in a two story house. Start with a mocha or latte from the espresso bar, move on to a housemade Bloody Mary or mimosa. Peruse the menu and choose from brunch to lunch - dinner has a totally set of delicious experiences waiting for you. My favorite breakfast is an eggs Benedict. My next favorite is the lido - a breakfast sandwhich on a croissant. Here you can get the best of both worlds - the lido - a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with hollandaise. Shazam! Im tempted to call it the lidoaise-which. Everything is reasonably priced - and it all tastes like it was made from scratch. Come out here on a nice morning and get a patio seat. You can expect a short wait and may have to fight for a parking spot, but it is well worth it my friends. The hardest thing youll find is remembering the name of the restaurant - Tera, teradactal, teracat, Tera something. No matter what you call it, call it home.

Six of us ate at Cafe Terra Cotta on Sat evening 5/29/09 to celebrate a couples 56th wedding anniversary. Lou M was our server & he is quite a character with enthusiastic descriptions of the various dishes & desserts. Once he found out that we had an anniversary he gave the table & the couple special attention. As he served dessert he recited one of his poems from memory, "Beginnings" which was very appropriate for the occasion. He then presented a signed copy of his poem to the couple. Besides the wonderful food Lous attention & special gift really made it a wonderful evening. The slight negative for the evening was our bottle of Asti which seemed a little flat but still drinkable - since we dont drink Asti often we didnt complain. Is it supposed to pop like champagne when opened?

I called and ordered a gift card for my sister who lives in Littleton for her birthday. I live out of state and just found Cafe Terracotta on the internet. My sister didnt receive the card after waiting several days. I called and spoke with Aubrey - the general manager. He said he remembered putting the card in the mail. I asked him what we could do if she didnt receive the card in the mail and he said he would take another one to her house himself! Customer service still lives at Cafe Terracotta! I wish my sister would have received the card by her birthday but it is clearly not the fault of the restaurant - more like the post office. Im sure she will enjoy her birthday gift and I am thankful for Aubrey who is going above and beyond to make sure I am a satisfied customer.

Recently went to Terracotta meeting some friends who had never been there. Weve been there several times. The service was great as always and ambiance. The special was a "sushi grade" ahi with couscous. Both my wife and I ordered this while the other couple had walleye. We like our ahi virtually raw like sushi or sashimi. When it arrived it had been grossly overcooked-not a pink spot in sight. The Walleye was delicious. Very unusual to have a less than great meal there-also the bill for four of us was over $300.00 Probably will go to Sushi Basho down the road next time for real Ahi, sushi grade and a third the price.

We made a reservation at Café Terracotta at 7pm and arrived promptly. But, we were told our table "would be ready in a minute". We waited for over 20 minutes for our table in a crowded, cold area, and was offered no consolation or apology (maybe a free glass of wine while we waited?)--the management just acted like anyone would wait 20 minutes for a reservation! It was very disrespectful! And, not something I would expect from a classy place. But, the food was good and the service wonderful. Im just not sure Id go back due to the bad taste it left in my mouth.

We had one of the best dinners here we have ever had. The apptetizers were amazing and our entrees were just out of this world. The service was top notch with the staff being very knowledgeable and helpful. I always like a restaurant that when it has new dishes that are either specials or new items, they prepare it for the staff before the night starts and lets them taste it. When your server tells you that he just tried the dish you are asking about and it was fantastic, you always feel good about ordering it.

Weve come back multiple multiple times, and I almost always order the Lido. The first time I was good, the second it was INCREDIBLE, the third time good and the fourth INCREDIBLE.... so apparently Im really hooked on the one breakfast sandwich, and it is also always "good" but sometimes better than others. The husband loves the eggs Benedict, and almost always gets perfect eggs, and once we ordered the berry French toast and it was phenomenal. One of our favorite breakfast/brunch spots and we will be back!
