This restaurant has gone through a lot of changes over the last 25 years that Ive been eating lunch here. There was a period of time in their history I would have given them a 4.5 rating. The atmosphere is quite and comfortable, the facility is clean and nicely appointed, and the food is certainly better than average, although not the best the Denver area has to offer, in my opinion. I hated to see them drop the buffet from the mid-day repast; it was a great bargain with good variety. Their biggest loss was when long-time waitress, Sue, left; she was outstanding and 100 percent reliable--even when the place was packed--and she served everyone single-handedly. Their service has really gone downhill since she left -- its indifferent at best. The food is still as it has always been -- OK.

I ordered after looking at the menu online. I thought the prices were a little high but the reviews were good. When my order arrived, I was shocked at the $40 bill! I was expecting to pay much less according to the menu. I opened the bag to find 4 medium size boxes and a bag of won-tons. If the price wasnt bad enough, the won-tons were overcooked, the sesame chicken was the worst Ive ever had and we found 2 shrimp, some beef and virtually no chicken in the combo fried rice. I will NEVER order from Peking Chinese Restaurant again! Save your money.

I love their food, it is a good place to have some classic Chinese American food. There are a ton of choices with multiple different meat options for many of the dishes and I love how much ginger the add to the sesame chicken. The waitress is friendly if you get to know her and remembers what we usually get. They removed something on the menu (Pork and Tofu), but are still willing to provide it for me when I ask. It is a good restaurant when you want a quiet and relaxing evening.

Finally a hot and sour soup that has some heat. not even hot enough to burn your tongue, but the first bite is a real surprise, it was amazing. then the egg roll was light crispy flaky outside and inside was firm and flavorful. The wontons were light and flaky too, with wonderful crab flavor. And the entre was bright and colorful as well as tasty. The waitress said they had been open for 15 years. and after one bite, I knew why. Ill be coming back often.

Go for anything beef. Ive tried several pork and chicken dishes and both left a lot to be desired. The staff however, is always awesome. They are great about getting your take-out done in a timely fashion. I tried their beef today for the first time, Mongolian Beef, and it was far better then the other dishes Ive had there, so I wanted to share what Ive found.

Sesame Chicken and Curry Chicken are some of the best Ive had anywhere. Crab Cheese Wontons are fresh, hot and flaky rather than the hard, chewy or mushy wontons Ive experienced elsewhere. Take-out service has always been prompt unless theyre really slammed. Their lunch buffet generally has enough variety to keep me happy and is a decent price.

I ordered some shrimp with lobster sauce earlier last week, around Thursday. Ever since I eaten that dish, Ive had the worse stomach cramps in my life. Ive eaten here many times with this dish, but this time its went over the edge. Ive been vomiting since Friday morning. Either clean up your act and PREPARE the food properly or lose a customer.

I cannot believe I waited for far over an hour for mediocre food (A SINGLE PLATE OF FOOD, BY THE WAY), terrible customer service, and for the extras I PAID FOR to be forgotten. Were it not for the long drive home, Id return to throw this exactly where it belongs: in their garbage. WILL NEVER RETURN.

Stuck going to a potluck and do not know what to bring? Bring a box or two of their sesame chicken wings. So tasty! They aroma is wonderful. Folks will knock you out of the way to get to the buffet table. Highly recommend. They take a little extra longer to cook, but worth the wait.

My fiance and I love this place for some good chinese food! Staff is great, prices arent too expensive, and the setting has a fancy elegant feel to it. The staff works very hard. There seems to be only one waitress and she is great at her job. Highly recommend.

Tried to order for delivery, and the female who answered explaind in a very snotty tone that Id just have to try back later because "hes not freaking here!" And just hung up on me. Will not try again and will never recommend this place!

The table side service was wonderful. The wait staff was kind. The for sauce was very thick, I would have preferred less sauce for the thickness of it. Or a thinner sauce alltogether. The bathroom was soaking wet. Every inch of it.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, the staff isnt overly friendly, but are professional. Their seats are worn out, so if you pick a booth you may wind up sitting in a huge hole or rut.

Just okay. The Szechuan Pork was mediocre, tasted like it was a couple of hours old. My wifes Kung Pao Chicken was pretty tasteless. And the fried rice was quite bland.

Ive never been here but there was a guy at church who gave an ENTIRE talk based on how good the egg rolls are, so I guess its a pretty amazing restaurant.
