Although the hotel building was nice I was put in an extremely uncomfortable situation by the front desk. I booked 3 rooms for the weekend and had booked 2 of my rooms months in advance. I called on May 10th to confirm my room and I made sure to ask for 2 double beds as well as having this put in my app. I have proof of speaking over the phone as well as an email saying my reservation was updated. Upon arrival when checking in, I was told my two rooms were both only 1 bed in each. The issue with this was in those two rooms i had myself, my boyfriend, my cousin, and her boyfriend. In another i had my friend and my boyfriends friend who had just met. Obviously two couples cant share a king bed and the reason for another 2 bedroom was so my friend had her own bed and didnt have to sleep with someone she didnt know. Im extremely irritated because i was told by an employee I would have 2 beds in the room over the phone weeks in advance and that was false. Being that we all live 4-6 hours away, i was forced to deal with it and pay $100 to sleep on the floor. We were given a role-in bed but it was obviously made for a child and would not fit more then 1 person. I was told at the desk that they would let me know if they could do anything and I received NO CALL from anyone with any update. Im extremely irritated with my experience and position I was put in for me as well as my family and friends.

Worst Marriott experience EVER. I am a Marriott frequent flyer and stay at their hotels all over the country. Ive been Gold with Marriott every year for the past 10+ years, so my point is that I have a lot of experience and loyalty to them. But after this visit it all went up in smoke. I was flying into Denver after a lengthy weather-related flight delay. I called the hotel to let them know that I would be arriving after midnight and I was travelling with my 12-year old daughter for a soccer tournament so I wanted to be sure they did not give away our room. Person on the phone assured me that it was noted in the account and that our room would be ready when we arrived. Super tired, grumpy and ready to get to bed we arrived around 2:30 am. Was told that they gave away our room and could not accommodate us. They put us up at a different hotel 15 miles away (another 20 minute drive after a long day). There is no excuse to not have a room for me when I had a reservation, they have my credit card, I called ahead of time, and they know I am coming. NEVER EVER staying at this Marriott again.

I was expecting more for the price we had to pay. Not only do you not get free WiFi, they didnt even have high definition TV. I asked for someone to come up and check out why our tv reception was poor and fuzzy they said they would send someone up but the staff member never showed up. No phone book was available in the room, I guess they dont want you to call out for food so you will eat at their establishment. No continental breakfast either. If you want to watch the show Family Guy, be prepared to pay 4.99 for the half our show. Which I think is really stupid The girl that worked in Starbucks was unfriendly. I made reservations at the LaQuinta Inn, in Golden and it was 30.00 a night cheaper, has free WiFi in the room, HD TV , Continental breakfast and the room was very pleasant. I wouldnt stay at the Mariott in Golden ever again. Get more bang for your buck at the LaQuinta for sure and pleasant staff

My wifes employer booked the room. We immediately called and pleaded for an ADA room that would be convenient for some one with near zero mobility. No problem they said. When we arrived we found that the handicapped parking and our room were on complete opposite sides of the hotel. No room in the hotel could have been farther away. It took me 45 minutes to go from the car to the room. My handicap is not their problem. Their complete disregard for my request is their problem. Once again: There was not a room in the hotel farther from parking than the one they assigned me. The yard in front of the hotel was full of trash, and the smell of natural gas was so strong we moved our car to a further away spot to load it.

Convenient location off of I70 and close to the Colorado Mills shopping complex with tons of food and shopping choices. The rooms are neat and clean, but lacked the electric outlets we needed to power or charge the multitude of gadgets we travel with. We only found an unused one in the bathroom and on the desktop lamp (it didnt work). Most places nowadays provide some sort complimentary breakfast, but this one does not. There is an on-site restaurant, but prices are a bit high in my opinion. There is plenty of parking and check-in was fast and efficient, and all staff is friendly and helpful.

Denver west marriott - regular room on 3rd floor. I did order room service. Busy night, I guess since I had to place my good order with the front desk instead of at the room service number since no one would answer. Food was delivered in the time frame expected. No issues with the food it was hot and seemed fresh. I did forgo cleaning service on the 2nd day and removed the tag for the 3rd and 4th day but no service was given even after tag was removed for more than 24 hours. I would suggest just getting the cleaning service everyday to eliminate the issue of them just not coming back.

Awesome friendly staff, clean rooms. Elevator is for some reason freezing cold so dont try and go walking around in pajamas or swimsuit to get to the pool especially in the winter. Id say the only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the lack of any sort of free breakfast. Like Im not saying their breakfast was t absolutely awesome. But if Im already paying $130+ a night I would love to see maybe some bagels and cereal at least haha. Definitely will be staying here again though. Great location with easy access to Denver metro area , golden, red rocks and I-70!

My Wife took me here for a quick birthday getaway (just get out of the house for the night). We had a room facing the "courtyard" and the view was awful (courtyard is not well kept nor does it have anything appealing to look at). Room was OK, but lacked a mini fridge (1st hotel Ive stayed at in a long time that didnt have a fridge). Pools (indoor and out) were nice although we didnt get a chance to use them. This is there saving grace - woulda been a 3 star review if it wasnt for them. If youre just looking for a place to lay your head itll doo

We recently had our wedding reception at the Denver West Marriott in Golden. At the end of the night, the staff offered to take our gifts to our room. Well, they never made it there. I felt extremely bad not acknowledging our gifts with a formal thank you card so I sent out a mass email to our guest explaining the situation. When I contacted the claims service, I was once again told nothing could be done and then was hung up on. If you are looking to have a joyous trip, look elsewhere.
