Well let me say first . . Portions were plentiful and fair but not especially tasty. $25.oo for Chimi and a margarita . The menu on interweb said $5.oo for a margarita but in house menu says $12.oo I walked 3 miles in 5 degrees to get there to be told sorry we only have the $22.oo margaritas. I asked for Mgr. When he came to me the first thing he said was . " do you know how much a shot of tequila cost.... " to which I thought ... I damn sure know what a bottle cost cheep to high dollar . Yes I know... I also know most restaurants have a margarita for around 5 to 8 dollars... He explained that the menu on google was outdated, And he offered me 2 for one if I bought the $12.oo margarita. I accepted. The first one came void of alcohol. Then as I took pictures of meal and drink I saw waitress talking to Mgr. She pointed at me and made camera motions. He made poring motions. My second margarita came with ample alcohol . The staff were rude and demeaning to me like I was poor since I complained about the way way way over priced drinks. Oh yeah.. forgot to mention the way way way way too loud karaoke music and beyond lame singing that left me with a headache by time I finished eating.... so on summation.... Lame ass ignorant staff . Rip-off drinks . INSANELY LOUD LAME MUSIC. but ample portion food.. so if you are rich, deaf, ignorant and dont like getting your moneys worth. This is the place for you..... otherwise.... keep looking theres millions of places better around.... oh yeah forgot to mention . Mgrs breath like to make me puke before I even had anything to eat as we argued over the bloated prices of thier drinks.. Ill never never never go there again.. unless I have to give birth to a food baby and there is no other toilet around......... ........

Wow!!

The food is great. Large portions, made in house, and the menu is huge. However, if you are white, and you arent exceptionally patient be prepared to get frustrated. Most employees and patrons in this restaurant speak Spanish, and I felt like most of the staff didnt want to deal with me because of a language barrier. The bartender spoke English but was more involved with his cell phone than with our service. We sat at the bar bc we like to drink. We ordered and the bartender disappeared for 20 minutes. I know it was 20 minutes, because my boyfriend and I were debating walking to the liquor store that is close by because they close at ten. We werent sure we could make it after our meal. Anyway the bartender didnt come back. I actually eventually spotted him and as he walked away texting I followed and asked him if we could have another round. He gave us our drinks and then immediately got our food from the window. My boyfriend ate his food quickly and took off after 10 min to the liquor store. Twenty minutes after the food was delivered the bartender showed up with the check. My boyfriend returned a few minutes later and we proceeded to wait again. I had ordered the house drink and considering we were all alone I decided to take the cool cup it came in. We sat for another 10 minutes. Then I decided to just walk out. On my way we passed the front room where the bartender was laying in a booth texting. He popped up and my boyfriend paid him. We walked out with a sweet Adam and Eve cup, some bomb ass leftovers, and little sadness because we will never go back because of the service, but the food was great.

Horrible experience and food is nothing special. Use your hard earned money somewhere better where they care. I never write reviews but me and my wife were treated so poorly I felt compelled. First off the music is so loud you cannot have conversations over it and the restaurant is very dirty and does not smell good. I honestly did not want to touch the table let alone have a meal off of it. We were finally greated with a "what do you want" after being seated for 15 minutes with no servers in sight. When my wife ordered a margarita the server looked at her like she was an idiot and said "what?" After another 15 minutes she finally brought the margaritas and took off before I could get a word in and say we were ready. She basically never came back. I went up to the front desk and asked for a manager which I have never done in my life. She told me there is no manager but said she would pass my complaint on to them when they get back. We paid for our margaritas and one shot of their cheapest taquila and got out. I have eaten here one other time with my sister and trust me the food is not worth being treated like you dont exist. Still cost me $25 and I could tell they couldnt care less about our business or opinion. Eat here if you want but dont say I didnt warn you. There are so many other amazing Mexican restaurants in the area run by great people, making good food who appreciate your business.

Heres the deal: In the past, this place has lacked in customer service greatly. Their main patrons are Mexicans, and perhaps this means that Mexicans in Denver arent into good service, and only interested in authentic food... which is crazy, because Ive been to Mexico, and most places give you unbelievable service. This place does not lack in authenticity. Furthermore, this place has improved their customer service quite a bit. Its still not up to what "white people" "expect" or are used to from other places, but its not bad at all. The quality of the food makes up for it. This is not canned food. This is not 3 Margaritas. This food is meant for Mexicans, and they do a good job at keeping this food authentic. The best plate for me, by far, is the "parrillada," which is sizzling meats and vegetables with tortillas and toppings. This would by like Chilis fajita platter -but of course doesnt even compare. Im not into seafood, so I cant comment much on it, but the platters Ive seen look amazing. I think this restaurant has been getting more white people, and other ethnicities as well, who require better service, and I think theyve been adjusting to serve their customers better... however Ill still have to give it an angry face in the ratings. Just think of this place as that episode of Seinfeld with the Soup Nazi. (-really, not that bad, just go)
