Id give them fewer stars if I could, bit I cant. I ordered food to go for lunch and asked for a burrito supreme. When I got back home I found out that all I got was lettuce, rice, and beans.. NO BURRITO!!! They basically took my money for nothing since I was so upset by this that I didnt even eat the rice and beans. I never write reviews about anywhere no matter how bad the service is, but this was literally the worst experience I have ever had, which I figured deserved a nasty review. I would like to include how the food was, but I didnt get anything, so I have nothing to write about, however if the service is any indication of how the food, is it is probably the most awful food as well. For anyone getting carryout from this place, make sure you check your food before you leave the parking lot, they are apparently worse than taco bell, which cant ever got the order right either. But I would suggest just burning your money instead, at least you wont be as upset that you got nothing out of your money since you got to watch it burn.

Absolute must to visit! This is one of the best Mexican food I ever tried. We do love Mexican food and tried every single restaurant in the area and anywhere we travel. I do not know who is the cook, but he/she does fine job. Every single meal we tried is superb. Margaritas - real deal: not a watery cool-aid-type-drink like in the majority of Mexican restaurants. The prices are very reasonable. Service is always good. Girls are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere is ok, but we really did not care as drinks, food, service were excellent. They are always packed for reason. Do not let the look from outside to fool you. It looks run-down type "hole-in-the-wall". We went to this place by my co-workers recommendation. When we pulled to the parking, my BF (who is slightly snobbish ) said, he is not eating in the place "like that". I insisted, and he was glad afterwards that I did! Now we are regulars there. I highly recommend to anyone who loves Mexican food.

The very first time we are here (8-23-16 @ 11am) was absolutely AMAZING. The food was perfect and the service is outstanding. Our drinks, chips, and salsa never hit empty, the food presentation was great (see attached photos) and the food was delicious and filling. We couldnt wait to come back, so we returned 2 days later on 8-25-16 just after 3pm. This experience was the exact opposite. Our drinks sat on empty for over 10 minutes, my enchilada and fried chili relleno came out cold with unmelted cheese inside, some of my beans were undercooked, the quacamole tostada had zero flavor, and the lettuce garnish on my kids chicken nugget dinner was wilted and appeared to be very old. I get that restaurants have their bad days, but this experience was so unpleasant Im in no rush to return anytime soon. We thought we finally found a great restaurant to frequent, but its just another disappointment.

I dont typically write reviews, but this place deserves one. I have never been a huge fan of mexican food, but this place has changed my mind. My friends and I have mexican food night here once per month. I always get a flauta (which are to die for), and the quesadillas. Even thought the quesadillas are an "appetizer," they are the size of 2 meals practically! Their fajitas are amazing as well, and the chips and salsa are delicious as well. Everything on the menu is great, and the staff is amazing, friendly, kind, and after more than 2 years of eating there, we are good friends! DEFINITELY eat here if you want great mexican food at a reasonable price. It is well worth the visit.

I am a big fan of this restaurant, largely because of their whole fried fish options. They can do tilapia or red snapper, usually, and the prices are reasonable. They give it just the right amount of seasoning and its never greasy. My favorite! Their refried beans are also very, very good. Ive had their carnitas and I really like the way they do them with lots of onions. Their green chili isnt the best Ive had, but its pretty good. The place isnt fancy and its definitely authentic. Grab a Tecate in a can and sit back to eat and eat and eat. Youll love the place.

The food has been consistently good and I believe that they make their own re fried beans and they are very good I love the fact that the beans arent smashed to pieces and they leave some beans whole they have good texture and flavor. I usually get the fajitas and the meat is perfectly cooked and isnt rubbery like some places Ive been to. I have tried the crispy chile rellenos off my husbands plate and it was one of the best Ive had; all and all Guadalajara has become one of our regular places we are very pleased with them

This was our first visit, and it definitely wont be the last. The staff is very friendly, restaurant is clean and very nice inside. Portions are huge, prices are very reasonable, oh, and the food is AMAZING. Not very spicy, but the flavor is fantastic. I got the carnitas, and it could easily feed 2-3 people. We even topped it off with the fried ice cream, it too was beyond delicious. I wish it wasnt 30 minutes from my house, cause Im going to be making that drive quite a bit!

Tiny restaurant, BIG flavor! Small place that offers huge portions and tons of great dishes. High chairs available, but more than 2 kids at a table would be a bit tight no matter the table you choose. Closet-sized bathrooms with no changing facilities for babies. FYI: Combination plates are enormous! Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Menu has both English and Spanish. Highly Recommended!

Solid Mexican cuisine served up here. The place gets very crowded so expect to wait but it does clear quickly. The food portions are large so you should not leave wanting more. The house complimentary salsa is some of the best Ive had. My carnitas was flavored well but the pork was to dry, a bummer because everything else was fantastic. The service was excellent, ranks as one of the best!

Legitimate mexican food. Guadalajara inspired cuisine. The real deal. Nothing less than a 5 diamond restaurant. For those judging this place based on non traditional food, like green chili (tex-mex or new mexican food) they are not a reliable source. Yes, Mexican food has evolved, but please when you or whomever talks about Mexican food make sure you know what you are critiquing.

Great quality and (usually) efficient staff. I recommend their Molcajete, as it is one of their specialties and definitely my favorite item on the menu. They make one seriously fantastic Michelada. Be prepared to wait a while if you arent going during off hours. But its worth it. I dont give many 5 stars, but this place deserves it.

On advice of a prior review, I had the steak fajitas and subbed jalapenos in and the green peppers out. Delicious, very authentic. For once, I had some common sense and pulled up halfway through and asked for a to go box, and my server added in some extra tortillas. Their hot sauce served with chips is so good. Great value.

This the sencond time weve ate and as far as seafood goes its great. But if you order any meat plates you get ripped off. There is about 3 pieces of meat on this large plate and im paying $15 for this plate. No worth it. Im sticking to the seafood. This time the service was so much better. Still needs some work but much better.
