Fantastic place with adoptable birds, toys food and knowledge. Met a young lady named Elise who was extremely knowledgeable and offered some great tips regarding my molting Quaker. They are associated with MDPR who rehomes birds. They will not let you adaopt unless they know that you are serious. You must fill out an application, do home study, have a volunteer vist before you are allowed to adopt. This may sound like a lot to do but people need to remember that some birds can out live us humans and they deserve a dedicated owner. They carry a decent selection of bird toys that are reasonably priced aa well aa a build your own section. Theu also carry several brands of food and treats for your feathered friends. This is a GREAT PLACE and it makes me happy that there are dedicated people who look out for our feathered friends.

We love this cafe, of course we are proud parrot parents ourselves. I think its a great idea for people to see how these birds behave before they think of buying. You as a owner become part of their flock. We bought a coffee tree for our girl from there and it was the best purchase we made. I love the selection of parrot toys and good. Great cafe.

Its a coffee shop with birds! The coffee shop aspect of it is very small, with only a few drinks and snacks, but its nice to know when I get a drink Im helping support the place. You can also hold the birds, learn about different types, and just kind of hang out in the lovely place with lovely people who all love birds too!

I went to The Perch because they came up on a search for bird rescue information. I learned they rescue domestic birds and I was seeking information on a injured wild bird. The friendly staff provided contact information for a wild bird rescue service in southern Denver area which I appreciated.

I havent seen a bird store like this in the Springs since TradeWings existed back in the late 80s. This store has a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where people can visit and hang out with the birds before adopting them. I thought the prices for bulk bird supplies were very fair as well.

Absolutely adore this wonderful shop that serves the large bird rescue! You can enjoy tea or coffee while visiting with the birds or shopping, and the staff is knowledgeable and experienced! Wonderful way to get to know birds and the different breeds and their histories! Love love!
