Taco Bueno es no Bueno I had a coupon for the new Taco Bueno on Tutt Boulevard and I decided to check it out last night. But I should have turned around when I saw the long line at the drive thru. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted after looking at their long menu until I decided on the Muchaco platter. Then I waited for about 20 to 30 minutes for my food. They forgot to add sour cream and guacamole to my platter and they add it on top of half of taco shell. They were out of Sobe water in the dispenser. The food was barely warm. The red chile was weak. The green chile barely had kick to it. Their so called Firehouse sauce didn’t set my mouth ablaze, but I may have a refined taste after having Mexican food for so many years in Pueblo. The only good thing I’ll say is their food is their food and décor is little bit better than Taco Bell. The only way I’ll go back to Taco Bueno again is with a coupon for free MexiDips.

First of all this should be a five star fast food place. I come for Oklahoma where there is. Taco Bueno on virtually every corner. The food is usually amazing. One of my absolute favorite places. However, this one is not! Which makes me sad. The taco are flooded in grease and the salsa bat is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS empty. They arent busy during the times I have come in, so there is little excuse to why the salsa bar is empty. And forget about getting any salsa when you get it go (I asked for 6 original salsas through the drive-thru and all six of them looked like they gave me ones people have used. I have waited a long time for a Bueno to come to the Springs, then I moved before they came. Now that Im back, Im sad they have let the reputation slack of an amazing company, to what I can only guess is not caring and not taking pride in the business. I almost wish they werent here for this reason!

I will not go to this Taco Bueno again. Very slow service and very poor service from staff. Everytime I have gone through the drive thru I have had to wait too long. Food is cold by the time I get home. Not worth the money. Our first time going through the drive thru an employee apologized for the long wait time stating their manager just walked off the job. Very unprofessional in telling us that. Then when I got home they had given us the wrong food.The hiring manager needs to hire better staff. We waited 20 minutes tonight at the drive thru.Our food was cold when we got home. The teenage girl at the window didnt seem to care about her job and was so slow. She didnt ask us if we wanted any sauces. The lid was not even on my food and because of that the food was all lopsided and pushed to one side. I gave them three chances. This was the last one.

Never seem to have sweet tea available in three times going there within a month . Tweeted to corporate said they were going to take care of it, place is dirty inside customer service was lackluster laxidasical confused at times disorganized. It has gotten a little better food is good service okay until today my wife had to go back to drive through 2 times and still didnt get the order right. She just wanted 3 quesadillas, the the first time she got one Quest DIA, second time she got a quesidilla and a burrito. Still have to go back to get one more quesadilla. Dont know if it was the manager but the person she called to tell them was Adriana, was nice but needs to make sure the person running the Drive-Thru can count and look at the order before giving it out not too difficult. Always check your order.

To start, my wife is a Texas native and loves Taco Bueno. She was very excited when they started opening in the springs, but it has only taken a few trips to completely disappoint her. The beans we got at this location were disgusting , to put it nicely. They had some kind of hard substance in them, looked like burnt beans but did not taste like it. We took our order back, got an apology and was told they were opening a New container of beans to make our order again. However, the beans again were bad and we got a full refund instead. We will never be returning to this location and would recommend that they retrain their staff. Maybe the corporation needs to send some more Texans to retrain them, I just dont see how they will move to more places with this kind of food.

UPDATE 5/19/16: So I decided to give them another chance. This location really struggled after they opened, but 6 months in, they seem to have things figured out. Last week when I was there, my order was in my hands 3 minutes after stepping away from the register. Vast improvement over the 35 minutes it usually took in Jan/Feb/March. _________________ 2/28/16 - The food is good but the service is pathetic. Ive been to this place several times. It usually takes between 20 and 35 minutes to get my order. And on almost every occasion they have forgotten something or screwed it up in some way. The other locations in town do a much better job. This location has only been open a couple months.... But they should have it together by now.

Tried Taco Bueno today for the very first time. Terrible!!!! Chicken enchiladas were cold and lousy, rice was hard, chips were greasy and soggy. Part of the salsa at the salsa bar was frozen!! The pictures of what their food looks like on the windows and walls are far from reality There was only one poor guy there trying to work the drive thru and front counter because they didnt have enough help...he kept apologizing and I told him it wasnt his fault. Waited a while to take my order. Manager of this place should be fired. No napkins available so they were handing out paper towels. What a joke!! I will stick to Taco Bell....at least the food is fresh and hot and the place is clean!!!!

This is the 3rd time my family has gone to this location and each time the service was horrible. When they first opened it was understandable, but by now they should have it together. Weve experienced long wait times for ordering when no one is ahead of us, long wait times to get our food, and incorrect orders. While placing our order tonight, the cashier was also talking to an employee that was leaving, we were told that the menus sitting on the counter that we were ordering from were outdated and the worst of it is that when we got home, the items were wrong. There is a Taco Bell and a Fuzzys Taco across the street and that is where we will be taking our business instead.

Taco NO bueno! We had breakfast burritos. Not a single member of the family could eat them. So salty that only a cow (salt lick joke) would appreciate it. We actually drove all the way back there to return the food. The guy said that they make them put this salt mixture into the eggs and theyre not allowed to deviate even though theres been tons of complaints. What in the world is that??? Never over-salt food. If people like salt, they can add salt. The people who dont want a heart attack dont want salt! Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!
