Im not one to leave reviews but I felt others should be warned of this place. This was the worst dinning experience weve ever had! We were greeted and seated promptly but it all went bad after that. One star is too many in my opinion. We gave them our drink order and it took over 20min to get the drinks. When we gave them our food order we were told no substitutions trust me when I say that we didnt ask for the moon. When we asked for the chips and salsa we were told about when were seated we were told that they hadnt "arrived". WTH? Arrived? From where Mexico? This was not a language barrier thing as our waiter spoke fluent English and Im a native Spanish speaker. My wife ordered a blended margarita and it took about 30min for that to arrive, or should i say what they tried to pass as a margarita. It was liquid salt with some yellow coloring. After about 40min of being seated the food shows up. The kids food was scorching hot, to the point of being uneatable and my wifes food was ice cold. After having invested 40min into this horrible experience we had 2 starving kids and were forced to stay or we would have walked out. Let me finish off by saying that this was not during a rush or busy hour, there were 3 patrons in the restaurant. 2 of which arrived after us and got served way, way before us. Be warned! If you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant this is not the place! Bad service! Bad drinks! Bad food!

Still getting better! Since my husband and I found this charming little restaurant, weve become quite the regulars. Starting off just wanting some good authentic tacos, we sampled both the soft and crispy tacos, and were delighted. Its obvious a lot of care goes into the cooking, as each and every time we go back, the food and service improve. Now weve begun branching out, so I would HIGHLY recommend the steak nachos (its worth it to pay the extra $ to add chicken too), my husband tried the fajitas tonight and they came out smelling great and tasting fantastic. The food NEVER disappoints, and to top it off, the service is incredible. The staff is friendly, the chefs are talented and hard-working, and the owner even took time out of his OWN dinner as my husband and I were leaving to ask us how it was, shake our hands, and welcome us back. They really do go the extra mile, and its worth every penny, the trip (in 7 degree weather), and more!

The food here is great! We enjoy it very much. No complaints about the food. Everything weve ever ordered has been superb! If the service could match the food quality, this place would stay busy. Two things that need MAJOR IMPROVEMENT are greeting & seating customers and food prep time. It should not take 25 minutes to get 2 meals when there are the only 2 people in the restaurant. Also, calling in an order is difficult. If you dont pay by credit card over the phone they wont prepare the order. I would eat here more often if I could phn in an order on the way home. Great food. Needs better customer service.

Food was good place was clean. But there service SUCKS! It took them 45 min for my food to get to my table. Ordered a few tacos to go for my kids & it took them 30 min to get & it wasnt how i had asked for. Your better off eatting off the lonchera thats outside in the parking lot. The girls are super nice & you dont wait as long for your food. They need my waitress & cooks. To long of a wait & only 4 couples in the places.

I have visited twice now and both times ordered the smothered steak burrito. It is delicious, plenty of meat, well covered with green chili sauce, and huge! Service on both occasions has been kind and attentive. The establishment is clean and the prices are reasonable. I brought my friends on the second trip and they raved about the food. Although, the chips are ordinary and the salsa is very runny.

No wonder this place isnt on trip advisor!!! Terrible, one star is too much for this place The girls are very young I feel bad for them if they have to dress the way they do for tips :( its more like a bar than a restaurant... The food is nasty! Smothered burritos and flautas are gross... This place is a major disappointment from the water to horchata and burrito to flauta...

yesterday I was served RAW shrimp on two plates completely grey in color not cooked AT ALL the place was compleelty emptu so ghiere was no rush amf also i wasnt offered any accommodation and still payed a 50 dollar tab for food that was inedible NEVER eating here again and telling all my friends about this HORRIBLE service

Went to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Ordered a carnitas burrito w sour cream and guacamole. Chips and salsa were good. Burrito was bland but decent size. This place has everything from tacos, soup, mocojete, marisco. Fast and friendly service, cute employees. Clean place, nice set up. I have to go and try their Seafood soup.

Horrible service. We just got up and left. Only 2 other people in there and the waitress never came over to us...another woman walked in and she helped her after she stood there a couple minutes, never even acknowledged us. The table was sticky as well. Dont waste your time going there. Horrible.

The place change the staff like every month because the owner thinks is God Is kicking out people just because!!! I dont recommend this place for nothing not even to use the bathroom.... The food is not even that good ! Just normal and so expensive ! I dont recommend this place at all .....

They have a very nice set up, nice floors, tables, a very clean appearance plus a nice little bar. The food is a very sad story, who ever is in the kitchen has no clue on how to make a good burrito. I ordered two for 55,99 each. Very small, poor quality, poor taste. Never again!!!

The food and service at Jalapeño Deluxe is excellent to say the least. The vast selection of authentic dishes on the menu offers you and your guests a variety to choose from. The atmosphere is comfortable, be it a cozy date or lunch with the family.
