Ive driven by this place a hundred times but we finally decided to stop in today. I was extremely disappointed. The ambience is kitschy and cute, like an antique store, and the local history is cool. However, the food was terrible! The gravy was bland, with no sausage in sight. The green chili on my breakfast burrito was cold and also bland. The burrito itself was alright, but again, bland. My husbands pancakes were fluffy but raw in the middle. The "two-egg" portion was very small, and the sausage was undercooked. I really was hoping for a great local find, but unfortunately. we were very disappointed and will not be returning. The only saving grace was our server, who was honest, funny, and attentive. She obviously knew the patrons and was very entertaining. Its only too bad that she couldnt serve us better food. :-)

I think this is the ONLY place in the metro area that you can get real, down-home cooking like you would in the Midwest. Their specialty is their pork tenderloin sandwich. It is absolutely delightful and always served hot -- just like you remember. Theyre burgers are quite good as well (if you like them juicy).Tracy, their primary server, will entertain the entire dining room as if she were serving family. If she doesnt remember your name after a couple visits, she feels guilty and promises to buy your meal next time. What a hoot! Great place, fun people, good food, local ownership -- this is a local spot worth a stop!

My boyfriend and I ate lunch here. I had a patty melt and he had a chili burger. We both got very sick. Bad diarehhea and I had vomiting as well. Pretty sure it was the hamburger. I woke and called to let them know and talked to Brenda. She said no one else has called, but I called as soon as they opened this morning. She seemed irritated that I called. We will NOT be back and I will NOT recommend this place unless you wanna be on the toilet all night.

Glad we stopped in and gave a second chance. The first time we went there probably 6-7 years ago, the service was horrible, the staff was super rude and the food was meh. We tried again about a month ago and was surprised with super friendly staff with a go-out-of-their-way attitude to help. Food was good- I order pretty plain jane stuff, eggs and toast... coffee was good. Will be back again

Every time I have eaten there the food has been really good. Over the years is is consistently good food. If something is not quite the way I like it, all you need do is mention it and they make it right...but that is rare as it is usually perfect!!

Truly a down to home restaurant. The food is like moms and the service is family friendly. The large pancake is my favorite with blueberries but the greek omelet is delicious and the bacon is the yummy thick kind. It is now my favorite breakfast place!

Food is always good. This place is very small and usually only has two waitresses who are very busy. My coffee cup seems to be empty and forgotten about often. But we keep going back so that must tell you something!!

Excellent food! I had the breakfast pizza and the French toast. Great service, I would come back again. Although they took a bit a longer than I thought to bring out the food but not too bad of a wait.

I always love to come here with my boyfriend and son! My favorite is the french toast. Everyone is so friendly and you definitely get more than what you pay for! Very reasonably priced and warm. ☺️

This is THE place for breakfast and lunch in Arvada. Staff is over the top helpful and food is always very very good. Try the breakfast burrito but bring your appetite. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I love eating here for breakfast. My favorite breakfast is the corned beef hash and eggs. It recently came under new ownership, and the new owners are as friendly as can be!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here. The food was very poor, but the service was the absolute worst. First impressions are important, and I have no plans to ever return.

The service was good, the portion were small, the name of the restaurant does not represent the food on the menu. If you want breakfast out of a can, I recommend this restaurant.

Big portions and good prices. Food took a while to come out after we ordered, but it was a Saturday around noon. Stuffed French toast, add bananas and Nutella - so good!

New owners and you can really tell - bigger portions and higher quality food already. And they painted, looks great. Homemade green chili is the best!

The breakfast was luke warm when served and the eggs were prepared poorly. Considering the pricey menu I would expect more.
