My husband and I have been trying to find a good mexican restaurant and believe me this is NOT it! We were seated right away but our waitress was short and not polite. We started off with the complimentary chips and salsa, the chips were stale, hard and looked like they were left overs from other customers. Our food was old and not fresh. The rice was so old and harder than a rock. The enchiladas were greasy and the burrito horrible. I asked for a side of sour cream to help mask the taste. Our waitress never checked on us again until we were done. We had placed our cups on the edge of the table for a refill hoping she would get us one and she just kept walking by us like we werent there she finally noticed as she gave us the check. The kicker of all of this was when we got the check. $2.00 for a dollop of sour cream over $2.00 for a tortilla and $5.00 for a pepsi. If i had know a dollop of sour cream would have cost $2.00 I would of said no thank you. I have been to bad restaurants before but never like this. Bad service AND bad food Sorry to say but your tip is in the sour cream! I will never go there again and I will let everyone know how horrible the food and service was.

Showed up there in the later part of the evening. Hostess was rude and ran us to our seats. Asked the server if the nachos had queso on them which he confirmed yes, but when they came out it was just regular greasy cheese with stale beef. Had to flag him down and make him take them back. He then threw us a big attitude for having to take them back, would have just ordered quest but when we told him it wasnt quest he coped attitude. Mustve been close to closing and we were taking up his time. Poor service, old food and extremely overpriced, 3.75 for a soda and let me mention BAD service!! When we left the Hostess and another young girl were planted on the Walgreens bench showing each other their fake IDs, come on girls you look 12 for a reason.

Seriously? Only people in the restaurant took five minutes to get acknowledged and seated another five minutes for our waitress to greet and get our drinks. Looked around the corner and the whole management team and wait staff sitting down and telling stories why would we come back food is old and disgusting and the wait staff is not good either Drug Front? Maybe because I dont know successful people in the food industry with this bad of service and food. Never coming back no wonder no one else is here. Seriously I cant stress how old and disgusting the food is. Took longer to get seated and our drinks then our food that means everything is precooked then reheated to serve to guests save yourself Arvada dont waste money or time on trash.

This place has been in a gradual decline for sometime now, and there is now a general "attitude" there towards Americans. The food is "suspect", my wife got sick from their shrimp tacos, and the service is horrible, the server (who was also tending bar) literally threw the food down and walked away. Ordered grilled jalepeno with our order and it showed up 10 minutes late. The same servers have been working there for many years now, and I guess the owner does not realize that "familiarity breeds contempt". Clean house, update your menu, get some new cooks that actually have some training or please leave the area for a new restaurant to come in, we are desperate in this area for good restaurants.

The ONLY reason my wife and I go to this restaurant is because its closer than Tequilas... where the food is good. In the past Ive ordered the cheaper draft beers (like Victoria) only to be charged for a more expensive beer. Tonight we asked to substitute cheese instead of red sauce for our dish... charged us $4 per plate. Generally if theres an up-charge for a substitution the server will say something. So our $20 dinner quickly turned into a $30 rip-off. Only time in my life Ive ever left $0.00 for a tip - suck it Armando! $30 is entirely too much to pay for what we were served. Absolutely done with this place.

Contrary to the earlier review which was obviously written by a disgruntled nearby restaurant owner, the wait time was less than a minute, the portions were large, and the food was prepared fresh. Also, our bill was handled quickly and with a smile. In the future, dont take one experience as the norm, and dont try to keep your own restaurant in business by downgrading another. It was a great experience, with excellent food, especially the grand burrito. Obviously you have "noelskilz" in reviewing.

I was by myself. I hadnt been here in a very long time. First the hostess took me to a seat in back by the kitchen. Seems many restaurants to this apparently in hopes they can fill that seat with someone who will accept it. I moved to the bar, my order was taken, and the breakfast burrito was OK. No one has acknowledged me since I received my order, and no bartender at the bar.. Im still waiting for my check. Wont be coming back soon. There are many other better Mexican restaurants.

Overly priced with very little of the norms youd expect from a Mexican restaurant. You have to pay after your first round of chips and salsa. You have to include rice and beans as one of 3 options for a 3 option combo ( for over $11??? Usually rice and beans are included, not an option that you pay for! ) and the portions are super small! Tried this place for the first time today. ..going to stick with my go to for mexican. This wasnt worth it!

Go somewhere else. We are new to the area and noticed this place is usually somewhat busy. We decided to try it for my wifes birthday. Felt unwelcome from the moment we sat down. Place was mostly empty. Had to keep stopping the server to order more drinks or chips. He was however available for selfies with one table. Food was NOT good! Probably one of the worst Mexican foods that we have had. Will not return or recommend to anyone.

I totally agree with Karyns review. Our chips felt and tasted like they were left out for days!!! our food was really bad...the "big juan burrito" was NOT big at all!!! it was very small, i complained to the waitress about it...and they kinda ignored me....i would hate to see what there small looks like!!! i was not impressed, i will NEVER go to his place again...honestly, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

This is one of my local restaurants within walking distance. The best food around but admittedly I go for the "Big Big" 60 ounce margaritas for $21. The Chili Rianos and Burritos are a great combination but the Sopapillas are the best way to end the experience. Eric is my favorite waiter but Ive never had a bad experience from anyone yet (3+ years).

Terrible prices, food, and service. Also they include gratuity without telling you, then they hand you a separate check with just the Total ( including the 20% gratuity) and a separate tip slot. I was the only one at my group to notice this, leading to most of my group tipping twice. Sneaky, underhanded, and low. I will not be going back.
