Was quoted 30 minutes and it took 2 hour and 20 just to get a table. Then 15 minutes to have our orders taken. We never received the water we asked for. Some of guests in our party didnt want drinks but water. Then 1 hour later I asked about our order they lost part of order so they were guessing what we wanted. They dont carry any mustard yellow or any type. What restaurant does that. It was our first time there recommend by many but now I figure that was maybe a joke. I was there with three elderly adults over 75 and 3 adults and one teenager to celebrate Fathers Day and graduation from UC DAVIS and a birthday. Our sever took our original order and then we had to ask 2 different staff for water for the elderly guests and two table settings. I actually want up to the counter and spoke to the manager and asked nicely for the mustard, water and silverware. His respond was mustard? And we had to put two tables together to fit you in. We were not the only large party we had 7 and they had a party of 9 that came in about 39 minutes after us and got served before us. And the ladies room were out of to in one stall and toilet covers in another. For all the advertising you see on tv you would think they would have standards. Very Disappointed in over all experience. I would not recommend eating there. To many mishaps

Friendly staff and good food. I had the Denver omlette with egg whites and fruit. The lighter menu options arent really their strong suit. They specifically have delicious and huge pancakes and waffles. I know I tried a few bites of my sons and couldnt stop at the one bite. If you like strong coffee this is the place for you. I personally couldnt drink it and had to switch to tea. The only downside is the price. Breakfast for 2 was over $32. That’s over priced in my opinion.

From the time we walked in to the time we left, everyone was exceptionally friendly! My hamburger was cooked to perfection & the clam chowder was so good that my brother in law ordered another cup. The food was served piping hot & that doesnt happen often in other places. Ive only been here once before & it was good back then too. Lots of menu choices for everyone.

Great place sometimes really busy. The staff is awesome and attentive to your needs. The manager come to your table and ask how your meal is and asks if you need anything else. Great place to eat. I take my family there to eat at least twice a month. Looking forward to going back to see them again

The owner of this establishment went above and beyond to welcome our very tired and hungry family. He allowed us to sit on the patio to accommodate our dog, personally welcomed us, checked on our service which was outstanding and thanked us. I highly recommend stopping in if you get a chance.

Ordered some country potatoes with my order of "The Grizz" a portion of the country potatoes looked and tasted rotten, also ordered my eggs over easy and they arrived at my table scrambled. The staff were very unobservant and were moving like snails. Would not recommend eating here to anyone.

Ive been three different time twice for breakfast, once for lunch and each time the service was so slow .each time we had to ask for silverware , had to flag someone for the bill . There were employees standing around behind the counter just talking to each other.i will never go back .

The food was good. But the service was bad. Took over 30 min Just to order food. A male brought my good too me (Lucky) 45 min later the female tried bringing me the plate that was mine until she saw I had already gotten mine. Which means I got someone elses.

The food is fresh with generous portions, the staff is attentive and friendly, and it has a great and welcoming atmosphere. My grandson really liked playing on the Bear Train!! Well worth going anytime Im in town! P.S. Plan to take half home.

Have been here twice and am very impressed! Food is fantastic and so much you have to take some home! Waited short time for seating. Servers very friendly and helpful. Menu varied and reasonably priced. Will make this is regular habit.

Not many restaurant options in Woodland, so your stuck with this average, overpriced option. Two breakfast plates and coffee. $32. Good was under cooked and barely warm. Service was friendly and attentive. GREAT coffee.

It could just be this location cause I have heard good things but the food was bland. I have to add salt to my burger to get more flavor out of it. Service was was so slow. We had to ask for boxes the times.

Yes Black Bear is a chain but I must say when the waitress asked me how I would like my burger cooked I knew I was going to be pleased. Great burger great price and wonderful service.

Step up from Dennys and has a more home town feel. Like the pot roast dinner - sometimes your in the mood for comfort food. Very accommodating of customers with infant car seats.
