New Pronoia Bliss
I first came here a few years ago. My favorite barista use to make designs. Gotta love coffee art. I really like the baristas (they are really so nice), and I even like the owner (who is referred to as the Coffee Nazi), so writing this review makes me cringe because I really wanted to give this place five stars (because its an indie coffee shop and the aesthetic is hip and modern). So why only one star? Because its inconsistent. I can have good coffee one visit and bad coffee the next, even with the same person making it. Maybe their house coffee changes and thats what makes it inconsistent? Through the years, Ive also noticed high turnover, which is never a good sign. Yes, sometimes the owner can be "moody", but who isnt at times? If I go back, I think Ill ditch the coffee and stick with the tea and smoothies from now on.

I love the ambiance here. This is not your typical coffee shop ...it is the best! Walking distance from home and the barristas are so friendly. Adrian the owner is always there to lend a helping hand and make coffee recommendations. The best part ...their coffee always with a strong kick as it should be, best lattes in town. Dont just take my word for it, try it for yourself...and if you see me there enjoying my cup of joe, say hello :)

Steeltown is a cool little coffee shop in downtown Pittsburg inside the lobby of a bank. There are a few tables to enjoy your coffee and a handful of snacks, but the main attraction are the beverages. They brew a good, strong coffee and make really nice specialty drinks. I had a spiced mocha (similar to a Mexican hot chocolate) and a latte. Both were well made. Great spot to stop in Pittsburg.

Excellent coffee. The Giants Mocha (dark chocolate mocha with a few drops of Orange Extract) is amazing hot or blended. The food only gets a "Good" rating because A) it is not made in-house and therefore necessitates either refrigeration or sitting on the counter for some amount of time B) Theres quite a large dessert selection, and I do not care for desserts.

:)) wall pics are precious, great coffee, - please get a sugar dispenser though. Agreed sugar is bad! "we have no sugar available because it comes in little packages that fill up the landfill" please do not fill the landfill, may I suggest a sugar dispenser

All the baristas are super nice. I always get the Honey Badger which tastes just like liquid Teddy Grahams and its awesome! My husband always gets the Spiced Mocha and its also awesome. Love this cute little gem in Old Town Pittsburg!

Im a fan of their Pirate Mocha and Honey Badger. The cheese panini is good, but its not really a panini - its just a grilled cheese sandwich - like literally sliced bread, cheese, toasted - its yummy...but not a panini.

This is a great hidden gem. The owner is almost always on site- takes great care in the coffee served- awesome pastries- a great place to have small meetings- much better than the franchised coffee places!
