Rude AF. I called here a half hour ago inquiring about a bag that may have been left. While this is not the responsibility of the business, the treatment I received on that call was disturbing to say the least. Not only did the employee blow me off and tell me he was busy, but told me its my fault I lost my bag, hung up on me twice, and cut me off and did not let me speak. I never raised my voice, cursed, or used inappropriate language with he employee, who called himself "Johnny". This is unacceptable behavior for any business and I would never allow for my paying customers to be treated that way. All I wanted was to ask a question and be treated with respect. I will never spend money at this establishment and I suggest you dont either if this is what customer service is to them.

What a pleasant surprise to go back to what is now the Venice Beach Bar! As a local I hadnt gone in many years because Id been to this place when it was the Venice Beach Bistro and it was just gross and overpriced. Theyve upgraded the inside and outside, put hardwood floors throughout (last time I was there my sandals literally stuck to the carpet on the way up the stairs they were so disgustingly dirty!), the place has a new vibe and feel to it with staff who were all attentive and very, very friendly! Given its new state I can see myself becoming a regular here!

The food was great but the service was lacking. They only had 1 guy running the bar, making food, and serving it. Also you walk in and you dont know if you seat yourself, you have to wait, or if you can go upstairs. It may be better in the evening when more staff is available. I sat upstairs which had a wonderful view but the tables were so shiny and reflected the sun so much I couldnt sit at them with sunglasses on. It was blinding. The steak tacos were delicious.

Great place to eat. Everyone enjoyed there food and it was reasonably priced. Like much of this area the building was unique but slightly small. We were able to get a table on a Saturday night upstairs and a group of 10. If you want to sit outside there may be a wait. The also had a live band that was pretty good as well when we were there.

Eclectic, hip, vibey - everything you would expect from a bar in Venice. This place has a nice mix of local hipster regular and random wild tourist infused in one loud, dark, chill drinking spot. Service is good, even when it gets busy. Good drinks! Try the Mojito. Bring a friend.

If youre looking for a dive bar you found it. I just wish the drinks were cheaper but they are by the beach. The bar tender might be friendly or might be a bit salty but they are always fast and do a great job. So good service!

Service is friendly but always incredibly slow. Nice view of the beach, but the quality of the food is just okay--nothing special or unique. It has a bit of a country feel.
