We were at the six flags and looked for an Indian restaurant, this was very close and we called to see if a table was available.. 45 minute wait at an empty restaurant with 2 tables filled should have been taken as a warning. We ordered food and it took good 30 minutes to get our order on the table, quantity was poor, the server did mentioned its close to 16 Oz but it was nothing more than 10-11 in my mind.. quality was OK.. nothing great.. we liked the food only because we were super hungry and tired. If you on a regular day go without being at a park for 8 hours.. this place can be your unrepeatable choice. Will try some others next time, not going again..

We ordered a butter chicken tray for seven people and we expected a reasonable quality given an audicious pricing they have for just about everything. We were really looking forward to this meal for we were wanted to celebrate some occasion, but to our dismay the amount of meat was way less than standard servings and on top of that the gravy was an inch away from being considered water. The taste was on most part OKAY. I will never order again from this place again and strongly recommend anyone NOT to buy anything from this place. Their pricing and pricing just doesnt make any sense and I feel cheated.

So happy to have an Indian restaurant in Vallejo and so glad its good. Going to the lunch buffet is not only the best value in town but the food is great. These guys really care about preparing good, fresh food. If you havent tried this place recently, give them another try. I go as often as possible. Very nice people and if youre a vegetarian, know that the owners are too and they have some delicious choices for you.

Worst food and rip off. Ordered, Chicken curry and rice to go, at home when opened the box, it was old food - they just used the microwave to heat it, the chicken was hot from outside but was cold in the middle. The rice was also old and hard. After talking to the owner Harish, he old me its fresh. Not a good restaurant. Thanks,

I had a great experience at Taj Grill, the food was very flavorful and I can tell the cook staff cared about their craft. My family enjoyed themselves and ooohed and awed over the food commenting on the quality of the saag paneer, chutneys, vegan and non-vegan dishes. Definitely recommended for the quality and price.

I come here for their lunch buffet for they have a wide selection. First time to try a mango chicken curry and it was delicious. Place is somewhat secluded from the street view, so it does not get crowded here. Good food and their price is average. I suggest they do buffet all day long to attract more people

The food is very good, love the samosas, nice buffet, fast pickup time for to go orders, best salted lassi I have had in the area. Some people have said the service is slow, but I disagree, it has never been slow service when I was there. The atmosphere is plain, but the friendly staff is really pleasant.

After being gone from the bay area for sometime and being relocated to a location without any Indian choices, Im so happy i decided to try taj grill. The samosas were the best Ive ever had and the dishes were so flavorful. I just wish they had a lower threshold amount for delivery.

Had the Lunch Buffett for $ on a weekday. The food was excellent and fresh. Ambiance could be better. A Bollywood music video on the TV would have added to the experience. Definitely will come back for more! Update: Another visit, food was cold, needs to be hot. Had to drop a star.

Will not recommended to anyone, very bad customer service and food trays were empty, asked multiple times for refills, waited 20 mins, was still not refilled, had to pay and leave without eating, staff said you are wasting my time, imagine telling that to customers.

My first experience here has been very pleasurable. The buffet was plentiful everything taste great,the Mango Lassi lovely. Staff on point, cozy atmosphere.I must it will be my place to din-out. Keep it up guys... Check them out if already havent.

Great dishes from Northern India. Personable service tucked away in the corner of the mall. Enjoy some curry, with varying levels of spice, naan bread plus many other dishes. We really had fun, and enjoyed the time with friends and great food.

Food quantity is too small. And price is too much for vegetables. Quantity of vegetables are very small and kofta is very small size and cutlet size is small too.I tried it today. Not a good value for money.
