The very best Mediterranean for miles and miles - this place is pretty much as good as it gets! I live near by and visit often and it is always delicious, so, when it came to catering my intimate little wedding party - I knew instantly that I wanted Pita Bar & Grill (that says a lot, its good enough for a wedding, guys, seriously). We told the owner that we wanted enough food for about 25 people - and he more than accommodated that (for a very good price), all of my guests went back for seconds and some even thirds - I still had so much food left over (Delicious leftovers? Yes,please). Not only did the food arrive at the exact time the owner had said it would, it was so incredibly delicious and fresh! Annnnnnnnnnd, not to keep rambling on about the amazingness of this place BUT the owner set all of the food up for us, opened everything, made it look nice, he did everything!!! Bottom line, if you have not been here yet - go here. Go here all the time, eat everything and dont forget to try the Schug!

I would rate this place as 4/10 stars, because, well I guess its as far from the Middle East as it gets. They dont do it here like they do it in Berlin and certainly not like they do it in Egypt. The falafel was soggy and just didnt taste like falafel. They brag about the side dishes really making them a standout falafel spot, but you have to get the foundation right before you can color outside the lines. Even Maoz in New York is far superior, though its a chain. Falafel should be light and fluffy, crispy on the outside and delicate inside. And the sauces should at least contain the standard of Tahini - which was misspelled by the way (and none of them were labeled either). Bonus points for the pickled vegetables bar and the service; but at the end of the day, this is just not falafel. Last but not least, a good pita sandwich shouldnt cost more than $5 IMO, but I guess the real estate here is pricey.

This place is pretty good! We ordered some lamb dishes for takeout and the food was ready within fifteen minutes. First up was the lamb kabob wrap. Next was the lamb chop plate. You get four pieces of lamb chops on top of rice. They also gave us a side of hummus and salad. The lambs were great! The rice was just okay. It was similar to rice pilaf but it wasnt for me. Hummus here was excellent. And even the pita bread you get from here is pretty good. Its not the typical one youd get from the restaurants where its store bought and flat. The pita bread here was nice and fluffy. It went very well with their hummus. I am happy that we found a good spot for dinner. Parking: Metered parking. Also on a busy street.

I really like this place and wish I could continue to come back time and time again as I live around the corner... The pricing is a bit questions tho, 15 bucks for a chicken plate? Which would be fine if it were a restaurant type of setting with a nice ambience.. But its more of a chic fil a type of vibe... They also charge 1 dollar per pita... The servings are fit for at least 3 pitas... So thats annoying, you pay for the food then have to get up mid meal and pay for more pitas.. I hope the owner changes this....

Pita Bar & Grill is great. We had a gyro wrap and a kefta kabob. Both were delicious, although I thought the kefta kabob plate would have 2 skewers instead of just one for that price. The grilled vegetables that along with the plate were surprisingly nice. The rice could have done with a little more flavor, it did seem a bit on the drier side. They also replaced the tabouleh with Grill which was nice of them. The service was quick and attentive. Overall, this is a pretty good place but has room for improvement!

This place is good but its pricey and for no reason in my opinion. The check in offer helps a bit you can get $3 off a Shawerma plate... But without using that it wouldve been like $14 with tax which is crazy for what you get. The food is good - no complaints on that and they do give you a big portion... But the prices just threw me off. I may be back but I wont be going there often. I love that they serve the Pita bread warm and the humus is delicious ;)

I visited LA last September and walked past this place with intentions of stopping in. I moved to LA last night and my first meal as a new resident was at Pitta Bar and Grill, I couldnt have made a better decision. Judging from what I ordered (chicken kabob plate) it doesnt seem like you can go wrong with whatever you order. The entire plate was so damn good that Ill need to visit this place at least twice a week, and you should also.

I go to this place everyday during my stay in Banana Bungalow. The food is fresh and delicious!! The staff are so nice! I am an Asian, and I am supposed to be very picky, but I fell in love with pita because of what they served!!! Once we tried to go in when it was still not open, they told us we had to come back. When we went back at 11, a guy gave us two pieces of chicken KEBAB for free!!!!!!!!!

Owner is very rude. I asked use the.restroom and I was told I had to buy a $15 plate of garbage. When I walked to the restroom I saw the help in the kitchen mixing food in a stainer/bowl..DISGUSTING AND TRIFLING !!! I asked to for.a refund due to the unsanitary wag they were prepareing there food and the owner begins to get loud. NEVER EAT HERE!!! Owner is a PIG !!!!
