Went here two times during our trip to Sonoma. First time was good. Although the guy working made a good smoothie, he was not very personable. My husband ordered a smoothie that was really good. I had a latte that could have been stronger. On our way out we stopped back in for a smoothie and they were out of bananas. Although the customer service was excellent, and the lady working apologized, she offered to make us a different drink that did not require bananas, but while she was talking and preparing a drink she kept rubbing her nose three different times. She was not wearing food gloves, so I just wanted to leave. Its a cool place, but cleanliness means a lot to me. Not sure I will ever go back. Maybe food gloves would be good, but still wont mean a thing if rubbing nose with gloves on.

decent bitter after taste leaves a little to be desired, the cardinal sin is the wait staff who care little if anything for their customers needs leaving customers to bus their own tables a no no an a blase attitude- well get to yo when we get to you! un-cool! not on my most gotta visit again list> The owner shoul take stalk and tran better cuteness doesnt ad up to return customers business fail that way!

Went to Barking Dog Roasters for my daily coffee each morning I was in Sonoma for a recent vacation. The decor inside is nice and the coffee is good as well. With a friendlier/more welcoming staff the review would have been 5 stars. Not a single smile or good morning on any of the days I went in for any customer. Maybe they hadnt had their morning java yet?

People working behind the counter were unattentive to customers waiting at the register and completely neglected the tables, leaving customers to have to clean up wrappers and crumbs off the tables themselves. And this was not during a busy hour neither. A basic lesson in customer service is sorely necessary.

Good coffee, hand-pulled shots. Nice assortment of pastries, sandwiches and non-coffee beverages. Barking Dog has an eclectic decor and laid back vibe. A nice little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. If youre jonesing for your morning shot you may find the service a little slow.

I like the local hang out & the staff going out of their way to get my drink particulars correct. Im not into the new blazing meat signs, but aside from that, its a great place to see friends & make new ones.

Great kids, friendly,helpful and real. (Unlike mechanical Starbucks ) AND absolutely the best homemade muffins I have ever had. So, yes I love the place. Respectful and happy.

average coffee place. the girls are adorable and the coffee is alright. service is kinda poor, but its close by home. Creekside Cafe has better coffee and better service.

They are not dog friendly! Whaaa? Barking Dog and you literally have a no dog sign on your door...And not even water outside for the dogs who have to stay out :(
