I ordered a plate of beef barbecue from Yogiyo for lunch today, and I asked them what cut of beef did they use in this item, and the Korean lady either did not know or refused to answer me. The meat was stringy and tasted what I imagine dog would taste like if the House of Trump would allow South Koreans to sell to the public if he was elected president. I was looking at the price of black Angus beef in Wisconsin that ranchers were willing to sell to the public, and at that time a half of a cow was selling for about $5.50 per pound, butchered. This price did not include delivery. A measured portion of meat in most fast food places is 1/4 pound. Let us say that a measured portion of BBQ costs the merchant $1.50. Throw in rice/noodles and a veggie and the raw cost of the meal is $2.50. Can the owner pay the utilities, rent, and the payroll and herself with the balance of $5.50, the cost of the meal. Not when the food tastes like dog or North Korean possum.

This place is awesome! And definitely something we needed in Santa Monica. Quick, easy, tasty Korean food that isnt super fancy but has great traditional flavors. My first time here, I ordered the bulgogi beef bowl with the sesame broccoli, brown rice, mixed greens and kimchi. The first thing I noticed was that they absolutely do no skimp on the meat or veggies! I ended up eating half of my bowl for lunch and then the other half for dinner. It was super affordable, really good and so quick to pick up after ordering over the phone. The second time, I swapped out the beef for chicken and I swear, I got even more meat this second time! Im sure everything else is good too. A lot of my coworkers rave about the noodles and the tacos. This is my new once a week go-to spot for lunch.

If Kim Jung whatever his name is, is aiming his nuke at this place, Im on his side. They have got some nerve calling this place Korean. Korea should sue this place for defamation. Anybody who goes here because they want to try Korean food, will most likely never go to a real Korean restaurant.

Great Service and Quality of Food is one of the best. It was a rainy day and I wanted to feed my family and we were really taken care of. The side dishes are amazing and our waiter was the best one I met in Santa Monica. Definitely suggest you drop by ... It is definitely worth it.

Go to Yogiyo Korean BBQ you will not be disappointed! Fresh and Yummy options.I eat here about three times a week, the best is the beef and the peanut sauce. They have brown rice alone with a white rice option. If, you work in CA this place is a must.

Came here for a burrito. Great Korean food. Had a generously proportioned spicy pork burrito. I liked the fusion concept. Very reasonably priced. Definitely will go back.

Great food at a decent price. The galbi was delicious. I didnt expect the kimchi fried rice to be so runny, but it was still decent.
