When the tsunami hit a couple weeks ago my boat neighborhood (I live aboard) was literally destroyed. We were all exhausted and with the local restaurants closed and the roads blocked - it wasnt looking good. The surges and waves came in for well over 8 hours and the ones that were still floating - were hanging by threads - none of us wanted to leave. I called up Pleasure Pizza to see if they could find there way through the road blocks and to the boat yard. Not only a clear yes but they threw in extra pizzas at no cost and a couple cases of water. Truly a community minded business and for us that day, a blessing right where we needed it- many good pizzas in many empty bellies. Many Thanks Pleasure Pizza!!!

Best Originally Santa Cruz Pizza!!!. The surfers know where to go to get the best pizza. Grab a bite to eat then surf down the street at Pleasure Point. The selection of pizza is delicious. You go in, pick out a slice, they heat it up for you and you go. On Tuesday they have cheese pizza for $1.00, limited two slices. We drive over the hill once a month for this yummy cheese pizza. The locals who work there are very nice. Good selection of pizza to order, just check out their surfboard menu. They blend the toppings and sauces to perfection. All the locals go here.

Best pizza ever! I love pizza, and I love to try new pizza and see how it ranks up to well known chains like round table. Pleasure pizza blows all other pizza out of the water!! The crust is amazing and the slices are huge! Plus you can order pizza by the slice. The place is famous but small, and it was so cool! If you want delicious pizza without the expensive price or pompous atmosphere, go and you will not be disappointed! Oh, but bring cash because its cash only.

Great service, and great food. Had the prawn and bacon mac & cheese along with a calamari appetizer, both of which were quite good. I liked how lightly breaded the calamari were. I particularly enjoyed the variety of foods here as my guest had a pozole soup that was excellent, and I hope to come back to try the Kahlua pork. The desserts are large in portion which was nice for a reasonable price, though nothing was particularly special.

Former Google Executive Chef Derek Rupp took over ownership in March 2010 and brought his vast culinary talents to improve the food, decor, and overall customer experience. The pizza crust is light and crisp yet firm enough to hold the mounds of toppings that adorn most varieties. Portion sizes are huge, you get a lot for your money. Service is fast and friendly.

Dont bother to ask for delivery on Tuesdays, they wont. They have something going on that is more important. Their menu says they have 3 sizes but they really only have 2 apparently. AND the people who answer the phone are rude,never did get to try the pizza, but it better be lined with gold for all you have to do to get it!

Good pizza, they sell by the slice. If you want it you have to buy beer at the grocery store next door. Sweet collections of vintage photos and boards. We surfed most of the day and my wife found the girls working there were not so hospitable. We have eaten there a few times and those were 5 star experiences.

The prices are nice and location unique, with a Spanish architectural flare. They serve a thin crust sparsely cheesed and gently sauced pizza. The flavor was worth a second trip. I tried the chicken pesto, the pesto again sparse but oh so flavorful. I will be back, said in Arnolds voice. Thanks.

Our FAVORITE pizza! Huge slices, great tasting and delicious combinations! We live in Fremont and have driven down just for this pizza on occasion, its that good! Whenever we come to the beach we stop here before we go home. I wish there was one in our area.

As a local, I cannot believe their rudeness. Once, a girl serving us actually ate off the pizza slices she was offering. Other times it seems like they actually discriminate and will serve people who they know, first. Not worth it.

Been coming to this place for $1 slices on Tuesday since 2003. Usually a long line in Tuesdays around lunch from high school students on break. Staff is friendly and young. Good place to eat outside on a sunny day.

Ive lived in Capitola for many years, and pizza my heart gets all the press. However, Pleasure Pizza is way better every time. Try a slice of one of their more complex toppings and you wont regret it.

Had a great breakfast here...the Indonesian Fried Rice was a fun surprise, really tasty. Wife had breakfast burrito, and son loved his huevos ranchers. Very nice.
